After a couple of beautiful days looks like we'll be seeing rain for today. It's gray and gloomy and drizzly. And it's Tuesday, DH's day off. Every Tuesday that he's been off since starting this new job it's rained! I'm still not certain why he's not taking Mondays off but that's his choice.
I did manage to get myself up and out of bed this morning although it was supposed to be a bit earlier but I was awake before the alarm and then went into one of those deep sleeps and some weird dream involving a plane, parking the plane on a major road in front of a hotel because we had to be on a different plane and DD taking off without me and me having to pick up all of our belongings out of the plane and when I got inside everyone was gone and I was lost-I don't even want to know what that one means!
Back to work today. It's getting near to the end of the month so it's time to get into billing mode and once again I find myself lagging behind. Hopefully the next few days will be ones where I can catch up a bit.
Hopefully the weather will clear enough that Otto and I will get out for a walk. We'll have to wait and see what Mother Nature has to say about that.
The past few days have been a good combination of business and pleasure. It was great to get the bike out of the shed and get the wheels back on the road and my feet back on the pavement for walking. I'm pleased with the accomplishments inside the house and pleasure that I had in the kitchen cooking. I'm glad that I'm spending time reading again. It's a past time that has been pushed to the side for so long and I'm really enjoying that again.
Well better get a move on and get myself ready for the workday ahead. Have a terrific Tuesday!
Good morning everyone. Yesterday the term " going nowhere" hit home for yours truly. I thought I had asked my mechanic to change my oil when I had him inspect my car. But yesterday I happened to glance at my oil sticker and see it didn't happen. I also saw that in the last 16 months I have driven less than 1000 miles. Sadly that even includes when I was working extra at the GH last year. Seriously does "get a life" come to mind?? Or maybe get a job more than 5 miles or 500 yards from your back door??

breakfast: frosted mini wheats with soymilk and a banana.
snack: instant oatmeal (2 packets, I was hungry!) I would agree it's hard with just the one packet - there's hardly anything in there but would advise to
