Good morning, Deb, and friends!

I am smiling today - just because it's a beautiful day and the horrible chain of storms that was supposed to pass through here overnight turned out to be

Good Afternoon,

First time all day that I've had to come and sit down and write a post for the day. It's been a busy day. Up and out of bed early this morning to get some laundry under way. I made some awesome banana blueberry pancakes for breakfast and then out the door to the grocery store. Spent some time in the deli line tapping my toes rather impatiently as the line went practically to the front door of the store and the crew behind the counter I'll just say they weren't doing much to remedy that fact. Home again to drop off groceries and then off to get my nails done. By the time I arrived home again DD had arrived to pick me up for the Pampered Chef party. I did buy myself a new grill basket for the bbq. I haven't been very satisfied with the last 2 I've purchased. This one I can throw right into the dishwasher so I hope I like this one more. The Sangria was mighty good as well! Dinner is ala Boston Market chicken that I picked up in Stop & Shop. I'll heat that up with some sweet potatoes and perhaps a salad and dinner will be complete.

Deb-I bought the 10 Minute Solution Slim & Sculpt Pilates DVD. Is that the one you use? My prayers and thoughts are with Donald and his family.

Deb/MN-loved all of your pictures. Our yard is such a mess. I didn't have much input into the flower selection. DH grew some marigolds from seeds and he has those all put in and he has his vegetable garden and the front has lovely green weeds growing up from the dirt. Creative landscaping I guess it could be called.

I'm starving at this point so I'm going to heat up my chicken. I hope you've all enjoyed a smiley Sunday!

Patty, Tim did, indeed, let us down, but it's so par for the course that I expected it. Unfortunately, Rob didn't. Thank goodness his best friend went down Friday evening to after lunch today.

Loved the badass quote. Need to print it and put it on the fridge for Tim to see when he petsits.

That is so cool about your rose!! I hope you'll take a picture and share. I'm eager to see the color and find out if it's one that smells good.

So weird about our body ages. I'm 58 and mine thinks it's 38 too!! ;-)
