How did the last day of your weekend turn out?

Today was mostly laid back, but yesterday was busy. Friday night I watched "27 Dresses" and "Mad Money" and liked both of them.


I spent the first day since Memorial Day at the nursing home with Dad. Mom was there too. He is pretty fragile, but at least he's able to be in the wheelchair. He's not getting any physical therapy, so he is getting weaker and they have to use the lift to take him to the bathroom. At least he was well enough to be put in the car and go about a mile to Sweet Tomatoes, where my cousin's family had a graduation dinner for their son. Two of Dad's brothers were there and one's wife, plus 2 first cousins and a number of 2nd (1st cousin once removed) cousins were there too. It did Dad good to get out.


I was there almost 2 hours when I had to change into "creative black tie" clothes for the Fur Ball the Humane Society was having. My sister is on the board and had bought 3 tickets. In the bathroom, I(

Today I got home about 3pm from the festivities to realize getting all of the attention last night was great, but coming home to my wonderful hubby is better.

I know exactly the feeling you're talking about after a day of good hard manual labor in the yard. It hurts so good! LOL! I'm eager to see the fruits of all your labor.
