It's Tuesday, DH is off and it's not raining :)! I think it's the first Tuesday that it hasn't rained on his day off. I'm hoping that he has trimming the front bushes on his agenda although he was talking about taking the electric trimmer to them which I've explained are going to be detrimental to their health-faster but I think it will probably ruin the shaping of them although with the way the front looks I'm not sure it could get much worse!
Off to work I will go. Boss is going to be in the office all day-oh woe is us! I know billing is on the agenda, catch up is on the list and I have two long term projects that sitting there staring me in the face. Long term becomes short term real fast!
I had a very long evening last night between, catching up on my checkbook and doing labels for invitations and writing invitations, battling with DH's resume to get some more information in and fighting with the printer I didn't emerge from the basement until 9:45. I finished up in the kitchen and headed straight for bed. I think my alarm was going off for about 1/2 hour before I heard it.
Invitations are underway, resume done such as it is with trying to insert information in an already formatted program, checkbook back in check so all good things for me. Even managed to get in 30 minutes of exercise this morning and I'm going to post the Pork Tenderloin I made Saturday night. That's my Tuesday toots!
Rain is headed our way sometime tonight but I don't think it will get in the way of my after dinner stroll with Otto. Back to invites this evening and hopefully they'll be done this evening and in the mail tomorrow. I'm really hoping DH doesn't bypass this meeting he's supposed to go to. This whole process would be so much easier with not being here. He kept appearing while I was trying to do labels. I had to be real quick to minimize the screen before I got what'cha doing?
Li-Deb-hope you're feeling better this morning. Hope all goes well with the check up and that you stick to your plan! By the way did you hit Bill with a frying pan while rustling up dinner for him in spite of the "Kitchen is Closed"?
Donna-nice that your DH and you got out for a walk. Wish I could interest my DH!
Nancy-that's great you're able to cut back to 2 days. Wonder if I could put that in the suggestion box at work :)!
Well better get myself into gear and my mind into going to work mode. Hope everyone has a terrific Tuesday-and remember to toot your tooter!
Wish I could say I sang along to your song, D-Deb, but the one that's been stuck in my head for weeks is "Head Like a Hole" an old song by Nine Inch Nails. If you know the words
I am tooting because I am home safely and enjoying some quiet time before completely unpacking, laundry, and getting back into the swing of things.
1-Happy to be home
2-Thinking of the quality time I spent with kids and grandkids in NC
3-Already planning to get back to the gym tomorrow.
4-Being me! Sounds silly but I feel that way today. I guess it is the afterglow of a good visit.
No song in my head today, Debra...but I do think of that same song as Karen...toot toot tootsie...everytime I see Tuesday Toots. It is a beautiful day today and I am enjoying it. It was nice to have good weather both traveling days.
Rhonda...you are a hoot to post the words to that song.
I'm really hoping that some Jackson time will really help you to start feeling better. You've been under the weather for so long and I'm sure that all these issues with Tim are not helping you in the healing process.

Grace, glad to hear you had such a nice trip that you've got an after glow and that you made it home safely. I take off for mine tomorrow.
You probably wouldn't have heard the song I posted unless you listen to Alternative stations. I don't care for a lot of the
