The day was busy as expected but not frantic busy so that was a good thing. I got my 10 Minute Solution DVD-I love finding packages in the mail when I get home! Also got my next Netflix movie along with a tax bill and water bill-guess the not so good has to come along with the good stuff!

It's gotten very windy although still quite warm. It does feel like a storm is brewing.

DD is out to dinner with a male friend from high school. They were very good friends and it was sad their senior year that neither one of them were dating that they each considered asking the other to the prom but were afraid to since each of them thought the other would think that there was something to their relationship besides friendship. They each ended up going with someone they didn't particularly like and both had a miserable time. They ended up laughing about it afterwards and said they should have gone together and would have had a much better time. So they're having dinner together. It will be interesting to see what has transpired over the years since they've seen each other.

I have to get my labels finished and my invites written out before DH gets home. His meeting is supposed to end at 10-hope they don't get out early!

DH is driving me a bit crazy at the moment. I know it's been a tough couple of months and I understand that it has been a lot to deal with especially at almost 60 years old. There's no question that he's been lied to and they know full well that there's not much out there right now and times are tough. It's rough starting over-but one of his favorite expressions in times of trial and tribulation is this is the cards you've been dealt and you have to play them. He just doesn't seem to be able to move on and he can't leave the job at the place of business. He's very unaccepting of the way they do things. He's set in his ways and sees only what he's left behind. The new bosses are very big into meetings and talking about team work and yada yada-they didn't do that in his last place of business. Well you've got new bosses that do. It's just the same negative talk all the time. I mentioned last night that I still hadn't had any word on my vacation time which launched a whole conversation about how he's not getting vacation-not that he would have at any new job and how he'll probably never have 3 weeks again. It almost makes me feel guilty about going up to see DD is July (if I ever get my memo approved). DS has offered to pay my hotel to go to DC in October and I actually don't want to mention it to him. Maybe I would be the same way if I were in his shoes. I want to think that I would certainly want to move past what I left behind. I hate to be critical but it's nerve racking listening to the same story day after day. Sounds like a topic for a therapy session! Now that I've expressed that...

No extra toots here except maybe that I got a good bit of cleaning and packing done. I bought some moisturizing bubble bath yesterday and am going to take a nice soak in that. Linens are clean, so I hope to sleep well.

We had a doozie of a storm late this afternoon and early evening. I'm amazed we didn't lose power. Shouldn't have to water for a while.
