I went to the store and now have so much fresh fruit in the house I just feel healthy!

Dinner for me is soy protein crumbles and black beans on whole wheat tortillas..a burrito.

Personally, I'm glad the day is over. I got called unkind by a 72 year old man since he was annoyed with me that I couldn't dispense legal advise to him. Apparently working in a law office for 16 years makes me a candidate for answering legal questions. It was just one of several of those annoying things that can crop up during the course of a day. The attitude of DS when he walked through the door and wanted to know when someone was going to do something about the front lawn. We'll just say that I was less than pleasant with the conversation with him and other family members who happened to be in the path. Apparently I'm the only one who feels that the brunt of this kind of stuff gets pushed off on me mostly because no one else does it. Well I haven't had the time or energy to try to call the endless number of landscapers that inhabit Long Island. Of course I get well I'll make the call just tell me who to call. If I knew who to call I would have called already. Maybe it's just the way the day has run.

Headed out with Otto after dinner. It was drizzling but we forged ahead anyway. After various remarks about the front bushes I decided to start chopping away. Of course trying to find the big clippers was just another source of frustration. You can't get into the shed without removing half of the contents along with the microwave and refrigerator that are in there from DH's former job. They're both from the dawn of time and what a perfect spot-in the shed! Needless to say I never did find them in the shed or the garage so I ended up with a pair of rusty clippers that were like using a dull knife. It had started to rain but clipped away anyway. More to do on them but at least they look a bit better. Didn't hear any volunteers from the audience to help out on that one either.

Breakfast-egg white omelet with whole grain toast, fresh strawberries oj & coffee

Snack-almonds & raisins

Lunch-turkey w/lettuce tomato & honey mustard, baby carrots w/light ranch dip, watermelon, honeydew & cantalope & glass of skim milk

Small piece of chocolate

Yogart w/fresh blueberries

Dinner-chicken ring, sauteed zucchini, salad

WW ice cream sandwich

I'm now off to have some cheese with my whine and take my b***cy, moody self upstairs and finish cleaning up the kitchen and probably go to bed.

Tomorrow is another day and hopefully my mood will improve.
