1. If you could have dinner with anyone living or dead, who would it be?
2 what would a "perfect" evening be for you?
3 If you could wake up tomorrow having gained any one ability or
quality, what would it be?
4. Someone has offered you a gift of a housekeeper, cook or personal trainer-which would it be?
5. You've won a contest to have room redesign in your home which room would you pick and what would you like to have done to it?

Wow, that one's tough -- so many possible choices. Of the dead, perhaps Elizabeth I. (I almost said my mom, but then I thought it would be too tough to see her again, knowing the visit would only last through dinner.) Of the living, maybe Hillary Clinton.
2. what would a "perfect" evening be for you?
A sultry summer night at the ballpark, sitting in the stands with my husband and a hot dog, watching our team win an exciting game, with a fireworks show to follow. (Hmm, maybe that's the first thing that came to mind because that's basically a description of the day my husband proposed to me -- except the part about our team winning the game.) ;)
3. If you could wake up tomorrow having gained any one ability or
quality, what would it be?
Given how long it's been a torment, I'm tempted to say a speedy metabolism (paired with the ability to only eat when I'm hungry and always stop when I've had enough). But if I didn't want to go with that, I'd pick persistence. Sometimes I wonder where I'd be today if I had more of it, rather than being the type who tends to give up fairly easily when things go wrong.
4. Someone has offered you a gift of a housekeeper, cook or personal trainer-which would it be?
Housekeeper, hands down. I could cheerfully go through the rest of my days never dusting, vacuuming, doing laundry or dishes, wiping down counters, scrubbing toilets, or cleaning the cat box ever again.
5. You've won a contest to have room redesign in your home which room would you pick and what would you like to have done to it?
The kitchen, without a doubt. I'd want a whole gourmet setup -- snazzy appliances, professional-grade cookware, lots of counter space, etc. -- so I could take my cooking skills (er, such as they are) to the next level.

1. If you could have dinner with anyone living or dead, who would it be? I think it would be my Dad. He died very suddenly when I was pregnant with my younger DD. My two youngest were the only 2 grandchildren that didn't have a chance to know him. Even though it would be hard to only have him back for dinner it would be nice to have that chance and have him meet my other 2 children.
2 what would a "perfect" evening be for you? Even though I don't mind cooking it would be nice to come home from work and have a nice meal prepared, some one else to clean up and maybe convince DH to watch a movie with me.
3 If you could wake up tomorrow having gained any one ability or
quality, what would it be? Self confidence
4. Someone has offered you a gift of a housekeeper, cook or personal trainer-which would it be? A housekeeper!
5. You've won a contest to have room redesign in your home which room would you pick and what would you like to have done to it? My kitchen-of course it would have to come with a construction crew to enlarge it so more than one person can fit in there at a time. And then just let them have at it to make me a beautiful and functional dream kitchen!
