Good morning Deb and everyone! ChaChaDeb, I'm coming to your house cause you're having too much fun! I want to join in. How do you feel after yesterdays marathon workout? Nancy. I wasn't coming to your house because you're working too hard!! But I think we could have fun and get a lot done so maybe I will head your way. Karen, a summer

Good Morning,

The three H's are here. It's already well into the 80's and just past 9AM. Good day for sitting in the shade. I hate to stay cooped up in the house with the AC running unless I'm trying to get something done and I really hate forking over money to the utility company so early in the season! I do worry about my furry beast though. He just wanders from room to room trying some place to get comfortable. He likes to come to the basement where it's about 20 degrees cooler but I worry about him coming up and down the stairs.

Yesterday was a nice day out. DD tried on both dresses again and she got lots of ooh's and ah's over her runner up dress and I think it was making her second guess her first choice. I still loved her favorite dress and she looked so beautiful with the mantilla veil. It just complimented the simplicity of the dress that she really loved. I told her it's not what other people think it's what she loves so we ordered her #1 pick. Hard to believe that it takes anywhere from 8 to 10 months. The wedding is 14 months from yesterday! Seems like a long time but I know the time will go quickly. The bridesmaids that were there all loved the dress that she had picked out and I have to say they all looked nice in it. It's one of those dresses that no matter what your size it complimented everyone. They also discounted the cost of the dress since DD was getting her gown there. The dresses will be celedon green with a white sash and Emma who is the flower girl will have a white dress with the celedon green sash. I think I'm going to look for a dress in plum since the dresses will be that color and she plans to use purple in the flowers. We all went to lunch at Applebees afterwards for lunch. I did make it to the nursery and someone is supposed to call me to make an appointment to look at our front lawn disaster. Whether they actually call-we'll see.

DS called that he had arrived in Florida. They had 75 planes ahead of them on the runway out of JFK yesterday morning so they sat on the runway waiting for take off for closed to an hour. They had an otherwise good flight and he was looking forward to the vacation time.

I'll be heading to the grocery store in a few minutes to restock on veggies and fruit and the rest of the week's supply of groceries. I'm planning on the lasagna in the crockpot that Donna posted.

Depending on how the 3 H's go will determine whether I go for a walk or perhaps a bike ride this afternoon. Although it's so cool down here I may just opt for the treadmill or if I get particularly lazy it just be a do nothing day.

I have my Netflix movie and may pop that in this evening.

Karen-I'm glad to hear that your MIL is doing OK. Any more discussion on a possible move?

Grace-hope you're feeling better.

Deb/MN-hope the party goes well today. Enjoy!

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

Susan

Patty--I thought her post yesterday really hit home too with people in my life.

Good morning everyone! Now that I am an older lady, I am definitely just being myself

Be like a postage stamp.  Stick to it until you get there.

Glad to hear your son made it safely to Orlando. Jackson and I were at the airport yesterday and circled Terminal B once and A twice so he could see the planes. He LOVES helicopters (and can say it) and airplanes, so I decided that's what we'd do for a fun afternoon. We saw a big jet take-off, a few taxi-ing (?), and a small jet landing over the toll plaza where we were stopped as we left the airport. E. and J. live only about 8 miles from the airport, and as flat as it is down here, we often see the planes taking off or coming in from a distance. It's a beautiful airport.
