Good Morning,

Another hot one here today. I'll probably need my parka at work!

What are the first five things you need to do today? I had to get some laundry whirling and twirling, healthy snacks packed for work to keep me out of the not healthy snacks that are usually hanging around the office, iron something to wear, cut up some chicken cubes for tonights entree, and prepare my mind that the weekend is over and the work week is about to begin-I've completed all except the last-that I never come to full grips with! Has anyone looked at the calendar and discovered that your “two full years guarantee” on something has expired? I never know when anything expires until something breaks and I say-uh-oh! Who is wearing something so unusual and striking that you will wear it again and again? Nothing unusual or striking but I am wearing a skirt from last year that I struggled to zip last year and it zipped right up and I can still breathe. Anyone off to the post office to mail that very important enclosed card you received? Nope-but I do have to put my SIL's birthday card in the mail. It doesn't take much to have her put someone in the dog house these days although she said that she wasn't acknowledging her birthday this year.

I guess that about sums up the day. There were some wicked storms that passed through parts of LI yesterday with power outages and lots of fallen trees. We had a few drops of rain and some lightning and a few rumbles of thunder but apparently most of it passed around us.

Trying to change my routine around and get my healthy activity into the schedule in the evening. We'll have to see how hot it is before venturing out with Otto. Even if it very warm he knows that he can't go to warm so it's usually a brief walk. I'll have to check in later and see if I keep my date with myself.

Better get back to getting myself armed for the day in the paying working world.

Hope you all have a marvelous Monday!

I don't really know what they were supposed to be, but as it's almost 9:30 am and I'm finally fully functional, I guess they're done.

I'm sure the gym goers appreciate you staying home til you're all better, Deb!

Back is now sore from the training on Saturday but my glutes and shoulders are much better.

Good afternoon everyone! I can barely keep my eyes open! Between the heat, stress and my side hurting, I am a mess! But, I will soldier on....;-)!

"I am actually feeling very good about what I am doing lately both with food and exercise. I can always be better… I'm rather proud of myself at the moment." Yes, that will be my mantra this week even with the way I feel physically. I can still feel this way mentally! Just have to remember to continue to do my personal best and be happy with it.

I took the "dance class" today at 9:45 and then went to another gym to teach the seniors.
Thank goodness they were sweet and told me I did ok. They are so loyal to their regular instructor I was a nervous wreck. But, they let me know when I forgot something and showed me how to do something else...LOL! They were just glad they had someone there to get them going! Two more to go!

I am getting really down about the pain in my side and I do see the doctor Thursday. I don't know whether to give him heck for putting my on that Welchol or just put up with the problem. There is really nothing I can do but track what I eat. I don't really want to go for an ERCP or another colonoscopy so soon.

But...I have to get myself "UP" for my trip to Mexico. I leave in a week!

Debra....I hope you are doing better and can do the workout you planned. You know the other mantra...listen to your body which you seem to be very good at doing.

Be back soon...
Grace

They're pulling the snow plows back out to our passes around here.
