Good Morning,

Another beautiful day shaping up here on LI. Warm temperatures but low humidity. Another words a nice day to be on the outside looking in not the other way around.

School is still in here but I know a 29 year old that is impatiently waiting for the last day of school! She'll be tutoring over the summer in the hopes of adding to the wedding budget but she's counting the "get ups" she has left!

So what's up for everyone today? Same old work stuff-but at least it's Friday & it's payday! Anyone have a short work day today? Unfortunately not. I still have comp time coming to me from my NYC trek and I think I'll find out whether I can use it next Friday so I'll have some extra time without DH being around for party prep. Of course by the time I get an answer to that memo it will be next year! Anyone have casual Fridays at work? We used to have them but they abruptly stopped when some abused the policy and instead of saying what was appropriate Friday casual they took it away-which stinks! I'm thinking of implementing that in CL during the summer months :)-I say go for it!

I'd like to get in a weight workout in after work. By the time DH gets to the bank and picks up dinner I should be able to accomplish that-of course that depends on how enthusiastic I am about that prospect at 5PM. I think a trip to the library for new reading material might be a good idea too. I have "Juno" as my newest Netflix movie-that's a possibility for tonight. I do believe Mr. Otto and I will also take a walk at some point. I have a reservation for him at the doggie motel & spa (aka the vet) for next Saturday. He's so not going to like that and I hate to board him but as loveable as he his he's just difficult with a whole lot of people around-especially when there's food around. He won't like it and I'll probably cry!

Li-Deb-good luck to Katie with the upcoming SS final-hope everything goes well. Kitchen project seems to be forging ahead. Hope you'll post some before & after pictures!

Donna-waving to you hoping that your knees are feeling better and that the working world is treating you ok. If you see Miss Kathy tell her I say Hi.

Marianne-good luck in your next 5K. It's great that you found something that you truly love!

That's about it from me. I do hope there's some type of encouraging news about my sister today. Hope everyone has a fabulous fun filled Friday!

Susan

Quick check in, I think I need to make myself scarce today.

Would the studio pay for part of your workshop fee?

Good morning ladies.........thank God it is Friday! It has been a busy week again, one more week of school and finals for Katie then we will know what her summer will entale. Beautiful weather today, my windows are open again and there is a light breeze in the air. Bill and Rob made it to the track sometime around midnight. Parked the trailer rig at the track then headed to the hotel. I spoke with him around 6:30 and they were getting done to head back to the track to start the day. Billy was up extrememtly early too and at the shop at 7:00. He is so responsible it makes me very proud. I drove Katie into school for yet another round of extra help. I will pick her up around 3:30 since she needs to clean out her locker today. I am now in the office till noon to get some of this stuff cleared from my desk. I am meeting with my mom back at my house to go out for a nice walk. No pressure for the rest of the day. Katie is supposed to have a pool party tonight and I think I will get myself a movie. Other then that my day is pretty quiet.

Hi, all...and there you go with another wonderful post, Patty, to get us started and motivated! Here is a great bit "YES I CAN" from me. Summer most definitely means slowing down and relaxing a little and not sweating (pun attended) the small stuff.

I taught the seniors and they hope I will come back. I said I would be happy to sub anytime I am needed since they are all so nice. I know I keep saying this, but you have no idea how much they appreciate everything you do. It is so refreshing because at my "tender advanced age", the younger members want your blood and if you don't give it to them, you are history! But, I am at a place where I do my best and they have to deal with it.

I had another brain storm I wanted to share with you all today, but I lost it already. I was making the bed and it just popped into my brain and I wish now

I bet you look great with the bangs and blonder hair! Just give yourself a day or too to get used to it! An instructor I am friendly with and teaches the inten-sati classes, just cut bangs last weekend. She thinks she looks "wierd" but she doesn't
