I've been so tired all afternoon. I'm back to the not sleeping well routine. I had a couple of really good months but looks like the pattern has changed once more.

One setback for party planning...no cake! My friend's dd was going to make the cake but unfortunately is sick so she can't undertake the task at the moment. I'm hoping that Costco doesn't require anymore than 24 hours notice. I'm going to try to take an early lunch hour tomorrow and head over there and hope that it's doable. Otherwise there's going to be some type of baking going on around here Saturday morning!

I went to the grocery store for a few things after work and of course after I got home that I had forgotten a few things in spite of the list I had with me. There was no one home for dinner so I made myself scrambled eggs. Nothing like the dependable edible egg...gotta love those chickens and their versatility! Otto and I headed out for a walk after that and I was hoping that it would revive me and I could convince myself to get on the treadmill but instead I heard mint chocolate chip ice cream with Cool Whip calling my name and it was talking a lot louder than the treadmill. I did manage to get some vaccuming done. It's days like this that I wish I could call in a cleaning lady and really do a good cleaning. Some day...whenever that winning lottery ticket finds my front doorstep.

There's now a hole in the front lawn. Apparently the spinkler lines were never buried deep enough when they were installed how many years ago so they broke a pipe and nicked the line. He has to find a pipe to fit and will be back to fix it but we have to keep it open so they know where the spot is. My lawn commando was out there making sure everything was all watered. My lawn commando also checked with me if a can of Reddi Whip that he had left in his room since Monday would still be all right to use! Hello...what section of the supermarket did it come from? He was curious if it would taste sour!!! The male mind...will no one ever figure it out!

Lori-I really hope this job prospect works out for you. Keeping all appendages crossed and sending you lots of positive vibes! That really is a long interview!

Nancy-hope the move goes well. Very exciting time for your DD and DSIL!

I'd better go get the hair dryer on this wet head of mine and then I'm off to bed. Hope everyone has had a good day and will enjoy a good night's rest!

Susan

Good luck on the interview...two hours?
