Good morning everyone. What's up for everyone today? More holiday weekend celebrations or is it winding down? Resting, working, playing; what's up?Miss P

Good Morning,
Interesting news stories this morning. The one about the pot-I can believe that one. Having dealt in the criminal aspect of the legal world-you wouldn't believe some of the stories that came out of that office! As far as the penis...let us know about that one!
How can one be running behind when it's Sunday and it's supposed to be a day of rest and a day off? DH has no problem with that philosophy I on the other hand always seem to be trying to cram the want to dos with the supposed to and have to dos all together! My coworker said she was going to take the weekend for doing absolutely nothing? Where does one go to school to learn to do that? I find my mind in a whirl too much of the time to do that. It's been the topic of more than one therapy session!
That being said, a grocery store run is in order although I realized I really don't have a list fully pulled together. I have wash in the washer and have already folded the things that I forgot about. I do have a manicure appointment and I would like an appointment with my chair and a cup of coffee for some reading time. We also have the first zucchini of the year-and want to make a zucchini pineapple bread. A ride on my bike would be nice as well. DD and her BF are coming by for dinner but it's an early birthday celebration for me since she has a wedding rehearsal dinner on my actual birthday. She bought food for the bbq and since we don't trust DH with the bbq since he has a tendency to wander off until he's told there's smoke billowing out of the bbq I think we'll leave that task to DH's BF. She's buying some salad and there will probably be cake involved as well. I have Charlie Wilson's War from Netflix that I may decide to watch this evening. I have been Betty Crocker this morning and made some whole wheat buttermilk pancakes with fresh blueberry sauce. They were very tasty. I was hoping to get the kitchen cleaned up and even though the buttons on my dishwasher said clean & santized no one felt the need to run the dishwasher last night so I've got a whole lot of dirty dishes at the moment! There's always the bills to pay as well.
The weather has pretty much left off where it ended yesterday. Humid, gray and looking like the heavens could open at any time so that bike ride may not be an option today.
That pretty much sums up my day and I had better get to it! Hope yours is an enjoyable one!

Good Morning,
Another sunny day here. Tomorrow is DD 28th B-day and she does not want a traditional birthday cake.

Good morning! I've been texting with Rob to tell him I've got him in my thoughts and prayers for his testing today. He wants s much to get this certification out of the way so he can move on. He has pre-testing jitters, but I feel confident he knows the material, at least all they've exposed him to.
I am going to church with Erin, Joe, and Jackson. Talked to her at 9 about the time she'd just gotten up and could tell she was really tired. Jackson woke up at 2-something. Don't know how long he stayed awake. It's probably from all the activity, pool time in the sun, and disruption of his routine. Hope they all feel good today. I'm so looking forward to the time with them. After lunch we're going to the nursing home to see Dad.
I'm feeling anxiety about the meeting with Tim, which will be at 7 tomorrow evening. I just have the feeling it's not in my favor. I don't think he's going to shaft me, but I think he'll be trying to draw further away. I know that's for the best, but I'm nervous about it. I'm not used to having to hire someone for everything instead of having a helping spouse to call. It's scary to feel you don't have someone to turn to in times of need. He was

Probably should put this under the clutter and organization post but...
Thinking of Susans post that said...wouldn't it be nice if there was a class that could teach us to slow down and relax a busy head?
