Hello, all...my fitness has not been anywhere near where I would like it to be, but I think I am back on track today. I am feeling quite a bit better since the pain eased up some today. I went to the gym today to take the 1 hour Zen Conditioning class. Not exactly totally a sweat fest, but just enough to get back into taking interval type class. This class works muscles in a different way.

Don't work too hard today Patty with this heat! Again, so glad to have you back as cl.

I was beside myself yesterday when I heard the the Academy of Pediatrics is considering putting kids "at risk" on statins! I can't believe it! Those drugs are hard on adults...how could it be good for kids? I know there is an obesity problem but let's work on getting them more exercise and better food choices. It scares me that meds are thought of so quickly. OK...off my soap box.

Lori...the whole male species is stupid. I am sure it is genetic. The idea of the bike rack and bringing your bike to town sounds like a great idea. Have a good workout at the gym.

Susan...the humidity is definitely draining. I gave in and the AC is on all the time. It not worth it and especially not worth listening to DH. No AC at work and he is

Be like a postage stamp.  Stick to it until you get there.

The public school doesn't start until after labor day. I have no more children in public school.. Think that is why I am feeling the emptiness.... Trevor, 18 start a private college July 26th as he is doing a 5 week Summer Bridge program.
