Okay, I think I'm on the bandwagon....

At least I have one leg up on it anyway! I've made a commitment to get back into shape for the last few years....years! Those commitments were always so short-lived and believe me, I'm paying for it now....mostly because of how out of shape I feel, hence the low self-images I have of myself. Back up to my size 14's, not happy with that. Anyway, for the last two weeks I've been "moving more"....just pushing myself to do something at least every other day for minimum 40 minutes. So far, so good. Working on the better eating choices too. I like this board and often lurk to see what's happening. I stumbled upon a recent posting entitled something like, turnover tuesday or try it again tuesday....whatever it was it worked....thanks for the inspiration. Blessings to all from Clairey

Hi, Clairey and welcome back! So nice to see you, my friend. I am so glad you are committed to getting fit and healthy and you seem to have found the right way to do it. Slow and steady and making good choices. Yes, moving is the best way to get going. Let's make sure that other leg gets up on the wagon too! LOL!
Now go slowly so you don't hurt your back and even if you walk 10 minutes here and there when you can't get a full workout in, you will see results.
YOU CAN DO IT!

How are you doing? Hope all is well. Clairey

How sweet your post is! Thanks so very very much for your kind words. You are right....with each passing day and each "successful" day at taking care of myself by getting healthier, I do feel a bit better. I try ever so hard not to focus on how big I am at present because if I did I don't think I'd have any hope of getting smaller, every. But I'm optimistic, hopeful and with God's help I know I have a
