OK, who's ready for Friday to be over and the weekend to start? I am! I am! Not that I have any great plans, it's just been a trying day again.

It's been a day of mainly trying to mark things off my To Do list. I did go to Zumba this morning and got extremely soaking wet. I was really tired when I got there, but perked up after we got going, so I was glad I went.

Despite being sweaty, I took 3 pairs of pants to the tailor to have hemmed. I've been trying to get there for a week and was determined to go today. Stopped in Kohl's to look at bras and to see if maybe they would have a red, true red, tee. Of all the places I've looked, they were the only ones that had one. The sleeves are shorter than I'd like, but the color is good and I like the boat neck. Rob and I had searched at every mall we went to downstate, plus I'd looked at other stores here. I got him some oil with reed diffusers for his room to make it smell homier. I'll give it to him next weekend. The scent seems kind of autumn-ish. It's called Cloven Vanilla. He likes autumn things. I don't even want to think about autumn, because that leads to winter, and I feel about winter like Donna does about summer, only maybe more so.

The pool heater guy came today and fixed that leak. It took a couple of tries. He was very nice and grew up in an area of MD that he knew all the places I'm familiar with. It was fun to chat about those. I noticed a lot of butterflies while I was out and a very large hawk making quite a racket.

Spent frustrating time on the phone getting our phone bill squared away. We've been paying over $115. since NOVEMBER, because Tim signed up for some bundle deal that gave us long distance again and internet service. We have long distance on our cell phones and already have Comcast and AOL for internet. The equipment never got connected, I canceled it, and returned the eqp, but they have no record of it. Any receipt I'd have had for it would have been thrown away months ago, so we have 3 more months to pay for a modem we never used and don't have!! Also, the long distance service doesn't work, but because we didn't call for repair service, we are responsible for it. Now, that I've cleared it up, the bill will be $34.20 plus taxes.

It's a good thing I took the bills back over. For someone who's so meticulous with the business acctg., he sure is careless about our personal finances. That was like money down the toilet. Also, got the extra night at the Hilton taken off our American Express card. So, even though it was frustrating, it was a productive day. I'm just trying to work my way through the list. So far, the best price we've gotten

Glad to hear the lunch with your friend was fun. Thanks for your good thoughts for me. Wish I could help you out too. I'm eating as much chicken as I can!! ;-) Everything seems to run in cycles -- the economy, the weather, fashion, you name it.

Talked to my sister in MD today. She said it was supposed to be 95 and there was a poor air quality alert. They suggested people stay inside and didn't want them to even fill their gas tanks! How is the air quality where you are? I imagine it's a lot better. Hope so.

A massage sure sounds good. I've been thinking about scheduling one for a long time, but never do. Maybe I will.

Evening Everyone,

I've keep forgetting to tell Rhonda how much I relate to her latest signature quote.
