So how has everyone's week gone? Pretty much as expected-work will always be work! Did you stick to the road you expected to or were there unexpected detours? I pretty much stuck to the road-not too many bumps or unexpected curves in the road.
Any fun Friday plans? If I could count the workday as fun I'll be there. But not really expecting that so I won't be disappointed. How for the weekend? Nothing exciting planned for the weekend. After being away last weekend there's things that will need to caught up with around here and I have a list of little decluttering projects that I would like to start taking care of one by one.
That's about it for the day. I'm very glad it's Friday and the weekend is almost here! Hope you all have a fantastically fabulous Friday!
I know yours are going to turn out great, but whenever I hear about home-made pickles, I think of the Andy Griffith episode where Aunt Bee tried to win a pickle-making contest with the worst-tasting pickles in Mayberry, but no one would tell her because they didn't want to hurt her feelings, so they just kept eating them and pretending they were all that and a bag of chips.
TGIF everyone! I am still plodding down the road of dealing with guests, extra people constantly here for dinner and the big family change. My stepmom goes back to Fl today and we will be doing the airport run in a few minutes. Of course, there was a security breach this morning and Southwest had to evacuate, but things are up and running again now. My brother and his wife come later today for a HS reunion and use my house as a B & B and DS comes tomorrow to start work. So you can see I am still on a very winding road.
Did get some exercise in this week including subbing 2 classes and eating wasn't horrible but it wasn't enough to lose any weight. Still purging the house and getting rid of lots of stuff. I didn't realize how bad the disease got with buying yarn for crocheting...I filled 5 gigantic bins and hid some under my bed of yarn that I got with 50% off coupons or closeout sales. I will definitely be donating some of it or start crocheting like a mad woman. I have to learn to resist a bargain.
I should be around more after this weekend and then again after my week in Maine (the first full week in August). (Very excited about no more board reports having to be sent in!)
Those of you who may need some mom support, there is a new offering here at iVillage...it is called Momtourage and you can get to it at momtourage.com. As they say, you don't have to go it alone and those of you who have teenagers can sure use a lot of moral support! Been there done that 4 times. One good thing, you do become friends when those years are left behind.
Have a great weekend. Looks like my weekend will be taking up with some "entertaining".
