Hey there ladies.........it is so exhausting spending vacation time with your husband........ALONE! LOL, I worked Monday and Tuesday and woke up to my first day off with rain. Bill and I did several errands around town, banking, post office, we went and looked at tile for the kitchen and came home with samples, ran to this wonderful store in Smithtown (Grace probley knows about it already) called Uncle Guiseppies! OMG we were so over whelmed Bill and I it was unreal, lol. Came home and ate our left overs from Bill's birthday dinner with the boys on Tuesday night and then fell asleep early on the couch. Woke to even more rain on Thursday which meant more local errands. We got ourselves memberships to Costo and did some shopping (mind you ladies my husband is not a store kind of guy so this is a treat!), returned the tile sample and made an appointment to have someone come and measure the kitchen backsplash, took a ride to my parents house for a quick visit then back home to reshower so we could go out to dinner with Bill's parents. It was Bill's dads 75th birthday, Thursday so the 4 of us went to a nice resurant on the water and had lobsters. Then we walked outside with some fresh drinks, listened to a live band and enjoy the water. This morning we woke to absolute beautiful skies! We decided to take my mustang out of the garage and we drove out along the south shore of Long Island to Sag Harbor, we walked along the Main Street and you will never guess who I actually bumped into and met today..........face to face! Billy Joel, I was like jello mouth! So nice and casual. I shook his hand and wanted to ask for an autograph but I knew that would be intruding. So we said nice to meet you and went our seperate ways. OMG! We then took the ferry over to Shelter Island where we had a yummy lunch, drove around and discovered beautiful houses, wonderful landscapes, and relaxing water. From there we exited the north side of the island over to Greenport where we drove home and got in around 6. Bill laid across the couch and I watched some TV, we spoke to all the kids, we miss them. Katie comes home tomorrow and the boys on Sunday. I just warmed up some fresh lobster bisque soup and made us a salad with some sliced Swiss cheese and crackers for dinner. Figured I would check in here with everyone but I can never seem to catch up. I did read about Lori doing something to Jeff in a dog kennel and Rhonda deciding she was ready to move on. Both ladies good luck. Rhonda I am sure you decision was not easy and I congratulate you for doing it. Hope the rest of you are well and I wanted to let you know that I have been thinking of you. I am figuring the Monday will be my restart from vacation and back onto my healthy eatting program. This week has been difficult although I have eatten
