Good Morning,

Wherever did you find that picture? Gotta love it! I personally will be bringing my usual dilema-out of control clutter issues. Everywhere I go, everywhere I turn I find something else. And after being in DD's room yesterday-I'll just say like father like daughter! There is no way on the face of this earth that she'll ever be able to take even 1/2 of what's in that room over to the BF's apartment. Clothes alone boggle my mind. Then I travel to the basement and find a bag of some sort of paper plates. I do believe that they are from DH's past job. I'll just say that anything that came out of the parts department should be tossed. The roof leaked in the place and DH took pictures of all type of mold that was growing in the place. Would you want to eat off of anything coming out of there? Anyway that was my frustration of yesterday.

Not sure what the weather has in store. I woke up to the rumbling of thunder and some rain but now it looks like the sun is breaking through. Haven't heard the forecast but I'm predicting hot and humid!

I did go through both bathrooms and tossed all types of stuff with expiration dates that have long since passed. Bath & Body products that some of them looked well past their prime and a few that I confiscated for my own use.

Today is grocery shopping day and although I continue to be eaten alive by bug bites I'm going for a mani/pedi. I'm not planning on doing much else except some reading and some cooking. DD and her BF are coming by for dinner. I haven't seen much of DD as of late. I saw her for a few minutes yesterday morning. She's pretty much moved out although I think she's having a hard time adjusting to living at his apartment. Everything is his and really finding it hard incorporating anything she want to do into the place. I think they're both thinking they would like to buy a house in the next year or two. I do have to sort through my bills and see who needs to be paid what. I have "Moonstruck" as my Netflix movie. I haven't seen that movie in years.

Patty, hope you have a better day today.

Margie, sending more hugs and good thoughts your way.

Li-Deb-the kitchen sounds like it's shaping up nicely. We'll just say I'm very jealous:)!
I find those vacations with so much togetherness difficult too!

Lori-sorry to hear that your day was spoiled by so much aggravation and frustration.

Hope everyone has a sensational Sunday!

Susan

Well Patty you have the shovels and I have the hole (picture below). Well this morning was a late one, slept until 9 again. Took Katie to see the horse, she decided to ride him without a saddle and not jump him either. So they played around for 30 minutes. About 20 minutes into her ride, Bill calls my cell to let us know our town was in the middle of a severe thunder storm. He said it was like a hurricane and it was heading our way. So she finished up, brushed him quickly and put him away. The owner of the barn a/k/a pool guy a/k/a friend came out to the riding ring to let me know he went out of town this past week with is wife and kids because the supplier was not expecting our delivery this week. Now tell me why did he not have the common courtesy to call Bill back on Thursday to let us know this since Bill spoke to him last Sunday and left a message on both his cell and business phone. I have had steam coming out of my ears these last few days (weeks honestly, since his wife and I had words about the financial arrangements between us, them, the horse and the pool). So now the story goes he will be checking tomorrow with the supplier and our pool sides "should" be here this week and he will be over to install them. Our liner is also scheduled for this week and he will be installing that on Saturday. Now since we have had rain on Wednesday, Thursday and today (today being the worst) you can only imagine what the hole looks like. Anyway Katie and I hit the storm on our drive home. I was so severe I had to pull over 2 times and just wait it out. Reminded me of the Florida storms. But we had hail, winds, and down pours just like a hurricane. Katie was really frightened. But we made it to Costco, picked up some burgers/buns and a few odds and ends and made it home. Both Bill's folks and mine came for a BBQ since they missed Katie, lol. Bill and I stood outside in the rain with umberellas cooking. My boys are still not home, which makes me nervous. They left North Carolina around 8 this morning and had horrible weather took and tons of traffic. I will be glad when both boys are in the door. Seems the two of them had a bit of a fight and this ride home was not pleseant. Normally they travel as a team and yet they got seperated and were not comunicating. So both are in different locations. Bill is already on the island, probably dropping off his girl friend in Rockville Centre and Rob is on the LIE just Shea Stadium. Very unsettled feeling for this mom, I worry when they travel but this one has been extremely long. Tomorrow is back to work so my plan is to be upstairs shortly. I want to set the clock for 6 and grab a walk to start the day and week back on the right foot. So wish me luck. I tried to download some pictures of my kitchen and the pool hole, I emailed them to myself and if it works I will share them with you guys by email. I am going to attach two of the pool hole of the backyard and a picture of what it should look like NEXT year after its in and we get the pavers done. I am trying to be patient, it is not easy.
