I think I have finished reading all the posts I missed over the past couple days... So I thought I would post one post instead of commenting on each one... (now to remember what I read, should have took notes)
- Karen, Prayers going out to the family that lost their son.. There is nothing that can prepare us for something like that.

Deb, what a sweet post! That's what this group is really about; support and friendship.Sometimes

You really did put a bit of thought into your post.

Such a nice post Deb. I often think of things long after I post and then go back and then forget again.
Hope Trevor does well with his summer program. It's hard when they leave the nest.
Otto is doing well. I did find he doesn't like marshmellows. Apparently when I went to throw some things out of the pantry this morning before the garbage men arrived I must have dropped one one the floor. I found it much later, lots of teeth marks and very soggy but just didn't seem to get his seal of approval!
Wedding plans are frustrating DD a bit. Her gown is ordered, bridesmaids have all gone in and gotten measured so all those dresses are ordered. They still don't know where the ceremony is going to take place. They want to get married in a church closer to the site of the reception since it's a considerable distance from our house. They finally got a return call from the priest that is supposed to be marrying them who was to contact the church to make necessary arrangements but hasn't heard back from him. DD blocked out rooms at a local hotel so those that don't want to travel home that night will have a place to stay and now her BF thinks the price is too high but he hasn't made the necessary phone calls. She wants to figure out her flowers but when she asked what their budget is she gets an I don't know. She's trying to get things done before the school year begins again at the end of next month but he's not being much help. What's the expression-oh yeah-boys are stupid! I still have to look for a dress for myself-bit nervous about that thought as I'm also in the feeling rather fluffy at the moment!
Nancy-you certainly have had a busy and very productive day. I guess you can say I've had a productive day as well. The work day went OK considering it was Monday. DD had the meatloaf cooking when I came in the door. I had some corn ready to be picked and I grilled it on the bbq and I had some grilled vegetable pasta salad leftover from last night. I think everyone enjoyed their dinner. Other DD and her BF went back for a 2nd look at a house that they saw yesterday. They're probably going to make an offer on it but already heard that their is already another offer being made. Considering the asking price and what their top dollar is-they're not holding out a lot of hope on it. But you never know. Otto and I enjoyed our evening stroll and even though I really didn't want to I went out for a walk after that. Of course, once I get going I always feel better. I was feeling a bit light headed so I didn't push myself too hard. I'm wondering if this extended release medication may actually be pushing my bp down a little too far. I did read that that could be a side effect. I even got my checkbook balanced. Love to see that $0.00-finished sign!
I read for awhile and watched a little bit of TV and I'm now heading upstairs to get the coffee ready for the AM and head to bed.
Hope you've all had a good day and enjoy a good night's rest!
Susan
