Good Morning,

An early morning post from me. I have a 7:30 AM doctor's appointment with the gastro dr. Not much to report to him so I'm hoping these appointments will become further apart.

Why with food, can't I also catch myself when I stumble and get back on track? Anyone else like that? Yep, I have that problem. Started something, can't stop and figure I've blown it for the day so just keep on keeping on!

So what's up for your Wed? Another work day. A Wild Wed , a Happening Hump Day or just a laid back middle of the week day? You just never know what lies ahead at the workplace on any given day. I do know that one girl is on vacation and my other coworker is in family court with a deadbeat ex who's about $40,000+ in arrears in child support! She keeps taking him back to court, he's been thrown in jail, he comes up with some money, gets himself out of jail by paying enough to satisfy the court and then promptly doesn't pay anything in support or arrears and actually may get thrown in jail again this morning. Nice guy! So I'll be on my own in the office for at least the morning. I certainly would like Lori's office procedures! Any fitness plans? I had a nice bike ride last night, not sure what the after 5 will bring. I'm really been seeing how the day goes lately and make a decision then. Meals planned or just wininging it ? My meals are pretty much always planned-makes life easier for me. It's raining here but planning on chicken kebobs on the grill.

Li-Deb-hope this rain doesn't spoil your plans for the day. Nancy-so sorry to hear about Kyle. Thoughts and prayers are with him. Rhonda-thinking of you and all the emotions that you've been dealing with. Thinking of all you and hoping you have a wonderful Wednesday!

Good morning. It's sunny, hot, and humid. I don't believe we got any rain yesterday, which is rare lately. It was plenty hot when I went downtown for the event with Sen. Martinez. At least I didn't wear stockings. I used some tanner lotion on my legs instead. It was a good event regarding energy.

We have 8 ceiling fans, but it's a huge room and those just aren't enough. I had written a suggestion to add 2 more ceiling units in the center row, but they came up with 4 large floor units instead. I had to go back after 5 minutes to be able to get a towel. We periodically run out, particularly on Tuesday nights. That is our rowdiest class. There's a group of women who get really wild and vocal. I dance hard, but don't do crazy stuff or yell much. I will be so glad when we move to the gym.

Good for you for going beyond your comfort zone and doing the swimming lessons. I LOVE to swim after daytime Zumba or doing hours of yardwork -- the perfect way to recharge my batteries! I don't do Speedos though. They're cute, but I want something with some support in the top and something to camouflage if the water's too cold!! :-o

I think we have about that many ceiling fans too, they installed them this year and everyone is still way too hot.

I just got home from the gym. I have always been overweight, but I gained even more after I was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism. My mother made a deal with me: if I agreed to join her gym she would give me a membership as a gift, so I took her up on her offer. She goes to the local rec center, so the gym there is small and nothing fancy. When we go there most of the people who are in there are senior citizens, so I'm usually the youngest person there (my mother is 85, BTW). I usually walk a mile on the treadmill (though today I made a mile and a quarter), ride 30 minutes on the stationary bike (6.4 miles) and then work out on the weight training machines. I'm usually at the gym for an hour three times a week. Maybe one of these days I can make it five days a week.
