This postcard, sent in 1907 and captioned "Monday Morning in N. Y. City", reflects the tradition of Monday as a day for washing clothes

Good morning everyone! The pic above is actually from a postcard

Hope you get to enjoy your week off, Susan and the weather cooperates the rest of the week. That was some downpour we had here a little while ago. Are you feeling better? No suprises I hope at the gyno...nice to get it over and done for another year.

Any plans? The ipod Nano sounds like a great idea. I have an mp3 player, I do enjoy it when I use it even if it isn't often. It is great on a walk....

Enjoy

It is never too late to start Karen! HUGS! And, would you please list the things you did accomplish this summer around the house? I bet it is pretty long one! I hope you have time to take care of you again once the kiddies are back in school. It really did sneak up on us so quickly!

Didn't it used to be "Rainy Days and Mondays"?

Very few people do 70 here on the interstates. If they are, they're blocking traffic! ;-)

Hi, Donna...your post had me smiling. Loved your "remembering part" and you did a very good job remembering what was in the posts. Yes, DS and family will be settling in soon. They are excited...there was an offer on their house in NC. It is a good sign.

Good for you for eating lunch at a reasonable time and I do hope you continue to do so. It is much healthier that way...we don't want you fainting from hunger.

I must have missed that your Mom was moving in. I am glad it is working out and your DH is ok with it. Sure does make things easier.

Keep up the good work with the eating....
