So, how did everyone's day go?

I'm ashamed to say that I have not yet gotten my upper body workout in.

Not only will I wind down the weekend but I think I will tell you what I've been up to since I haven't been here in a couple of days.

Wow, sounds like Grand Central Station around there! No wonder you're pooped, on top of all the work that was going on too. Homemade peach ice cream brings back good memories and makes my mouth water! It's one of my favorites and the main one we used to make. I have an ice cream maker and should make some.

How was your BIL? Is he willing to do a bit more than he has been? Sure hope so.

Other than fighting intermittent bits of loneliness, I had a good day. Went to church and the sermon was good. One musical number is particular was just incredible. They did it last week and has such a response in person, by email, etc., that they repeated it today. The soloist had such a beautiful voice and the choir did wonderful back-up. It was very uplifting.

Despite some sun and some clouds, I decided to head for the beach for my fix of salt air, waves, sand, and negative ions. Put on some board shorts, a lightweight T, and a mesh pullover hoodie with a pouch and off I went. It was drizzling when I got there, but within 10 minutes the sky was gorgeously sunny. Water was still quite rough from the storm, so the shore break was dangerous and the beach had a deep slope from erosion. I wouldn't let a small child play at the edge, because several times when waves would come in suddenly they almost knocked me off my feet! Despite poor shark teeth finding conditions, I did find 22 on my walk north, then just walked fast when I headed back south. I spent 2 hours there.

Got home and pulled out the lawnmower since the yard had dried
