Are you wearing a regular shoe yet? No, I've put regular shoes on and I can now get it on, stand up with them on but after about 5 minutes it's just way too uncomfortable. I may try a sneaker and see if that feels better. It's still really sore at times and I guess these weird sensations in it every once in awhile. Hope that means it's healing!

Good Morning,

A beautiful day here. The humidity has disappeared and it's a bit on the cool side, the sun is shining-unfortunately the work day looms ahead.

Like, Lori I'm dragging this morning. Are we sure today is only Tuesday? Yesterday's day at work felt like a week. It was truly the day from h*ll. When things start going wrong from the minute you walk through the door you just know it's going to be a bad day! To add to the regular mayhem we have a line on our phone system that we're having a problem with and it seems that it randomly calls 911 for whatever reason. We have our 2nd visit from the local police department to see you called and what our emergency is. Needless to say they're none to happy with us. We don't know whether there's a problem with the carrier or whether something happened to the line from the people that are working on the construction of new suites on the floor. Apparently I was supposed to remind the boss to contact the management company. Am I the only one who works there? Needless to say I came home totally exhausted last night and the last place I should have been was in the kitchen preparing dinner where I felt I was a danger to myself and everyone around me. I was glad when DD called and said that she wasn't coming for dinner as she had planned. You would think with the total exhaustion I would have slept really well but that wasn't to be.

But it's a new day and hopefully a better one than yesterday. DH will have to follow me over to the station to get my car inspected and then drive me to work and then drive back at lunch time and pick me up to pick up my car-providing it's ready. This would have been so much easier if only he had done what I asked him to do.

DD's house hunt didn't go so well last night. I personally think they're overthinking a lot of things and not looking at the overall picture. But it's their first house and I try not to say too much. I know they're both disappointed but the search goes on.

BNL, how is your toe? The toe is doing OK-unfortunately an overly excited 56 lb dog landed on it Sunday and I stepped wrong trying to straighten out a house on Sunday which must have bruised the bottom of the foot.

How's fitness going for everyone? Non existent at present and I'm missing my walks even if it's only a stroll with Otto. Does the cooler weather ( or promise of) motivate you more? I love the cooler weather and can't wait to don a pair of sneakers can get back on my feet.

Deb/MN-enjoy the time with Trevor

Nancy-great job with that workout!

Lori-really sorry to hear about the damage Lucky inflicted on your hutch. Fortunately the only chewing Otto has ever done was on plastic bags and his dumpster diving antics!

Better run-have to get my car over to the station and be to work on time (hopefully)!

Good morning. It's local election day here. I already voted in early voting, so don't have to worry about that.

I went to Zumba yesterday morning, but my rib area muscle bothered me so much when I used my torso (often) that I left after about 20 minutes. I ended up picking up 2 skirts I'd had to have taken up (hurray!), getting gas at BJ's ($3.59.9!!), going to the post office, and then coming home to clean up to go see Dad. I was so tired yesterday after sitting with Dad for 4 hours that I didn't get much done around here. I had planned to watch some of the convention fiasco, but was just too tired. I wound up falling asleep and missing most of it. Slept fitfully during the night and kept waking up just before daylight.

You're going to be 83 there and it truly feels like fall here.

One of my new friends from Shag has taught Flamenco for many years. She has the most graceful hand movements. She's been trying to get me to take classes, but it's too far away and another expense. She has tons of pictures on her web site http://www.flamencodelacosta.com/. Her name is Naomi.
