1. Can you believe summer is coming to an official close? On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being disappointing and 10 being superb) - how would you rate your summer? About a 5. I had some good vacation time, some not so good vacation time. Is there anything special you’ll remember from the Summer of 2008? My travels to MA and the broken toe incident will probably go into the vacation memory book!
2. What one food is your major downfall? Sweets of any kind. Do you do anything to try to curtail the craving and consumption of that particular food? Out of sight out of mind helps. Is there a food / dish that you normally only prepare when the temperature cools down? The cooler temperatures bring on dinners in the oven and the bread machine coming alive again and the soup pot reappears.
3. What healthy choices will you try to make for yourself this Fall? Just try to keep doing what I've been trying do and eat healthy, watch those portions and hopefully before too long get back into a fitness routine. It's becoming real easy to be lazy!
4. Is there something at your home that you will change out with the season change? Knick-knacks; Door wreath; Scented Candles; other. I have a lot of fun fall things for around the house and I don't burn candles in the summer so having those fall candles burning again will be nice.
5. Generally speaking, what do you look forward to in the Fall? I enjoy the change of the seasons, watching the leaves turn color, changing into a different type of clothing and cooking styles. I'm a 4 season kind of girl!
I hope each of you enjoys the last weekend for August 2008 - let's make great strides in September, together!!! You too Karen! Thanks for the Friday 5!
