Good Morning,

Lots of sunshine here on LI but humidity is definitely on the rise. The sound of teenagers walking to the high school filled the air this morning. The street has been very quiet up till this morning!

Plans for the day-work! Billing is under way and always a busy few days trying to get that project done and keep up with the rest of the work in the office.

Trying to incorporate a few minutes of exercise back into the daily routine. Kind of limited as to what I can do. It's amazing how much toes can be involved in exercise. I went to do a stretch last night and realized there was no way I was going to be able to do that without putting pressure on the toe.

Cooking Light version of pork lomein on the menu this evening. I like these one pot things that are easy to make and incorporate lots of veggies in them. Day 2 of keeping sugary products away from my lips.

That's about it from my neck of the woods. Hope everyone has a Wonderful Wednesday!

Well since it's suppose to be in the high 90's with a heat index of 104 to 110, i won't be doing to much outside after work.

Lori, you were right. I have been sort of AWOL lately. There hasn't been a lot of positive stuff to write, so I've just stayed to myself, much of the time in bed since after dancing Friday night. I have made myself go to Zumba twice, church, and spent Monday with Dad. I'll spend today with him too.

This week is really hard for me. Tomorrow is my court date. While part of me wants to get it overwith so I don't have to worry about it anymore, the other part of me is still in shock about the whole thing. Rob has been somewhat distant too, and that really hurts. His girl friend called to chat last night, and she said he's been somewhat distant with her too. He's crazy about her, so I'm not sure what's going on with him. Am considering writing him a heart-to-heart, since I can't seem to talk to him about it and it's too long to text. He was supposed to come home this weekend for my birthday, but due to Hanna they've canceled his leave. They had told him to be ready to go to New Orleans if needed, but I don't think that will happen. The gov. of LA has been phenomenal and they

New to the Board!! I'm almost 42, and really out of shape!!

I am spending the first part of my morning seeking out advice on how to start to get back into shape - then, I'll finish my coffee and go use the gazelle. So glad to have found you all!!

You might laugh when you read this, but, I want to get fit enough to run the 1/2 marathon in Chicago, IL. I have no idea why I want to do this, but something is telling me to just do it.

But, I need to find a starting place -- currently I don't run, I barely exercise, and I weigh 180 lbs.

Just need encouragement and advice to get started!!

Thanks!!

My boss is inside with a client right now so I figured I would grab five minutes while I could. Busy day planned here so I am hoping the day goes fast. Katie is spending the day with my younger sister (possibly going to the beach). Rob is in day two of college and Billy and Bill are working like crazy. Aunt Flo was just about the worst I have seen yesterday.......she played big time with my hormones. I was totally out of wack. I feel better today thank goodness. I got into a bit of a tiff with my middle sister and exchanged some words. I do not like that feeling.Hope you all have wonderful day today.

Deb I am not sure if it is a good thing or a bad thing......all my kids are still home. We joke about how impressed we are with my older son.......new truck, new trailer, nice race car, everyday car a fancy mustang, an old restored Bronco, works full time, very responsible, 23 years old and he aint going anyplace. I am making it too easy for him, lol. Although he does pay rent, lol if you call $50 a week rent money. Now Rob said he did not want to go away to college so he comutes the 25 minutes back and forth each day. He said that next year he is considering going away but his idea and ours are very different. He said the University in South Beach Miami is calling his name..........lol, yeah right. Lots of school work will get acomplished there, lol. Katie to soon to say. She said she wanted to go away to school but she was never going to get married and live with us forever but she is only 14 and we know how girls change their minds all the time.
