Good morning everyone, sorry I have been missing in action these last few days. Friday was a busy day at home trying to catch up on lots of over due cleaning. The humidity was tuff but I got my upstairs sparkling and my living room and dining room done then I had some early evening running around. Saturday Bill took off with our friend to NJ for a race. They parked the trailer at the track mid-day and spent the afternoon doing lunch and shopping man style.........Home Depot, lol. I cleaned the rest of the house and finished catching up on laundry. It felt good to get organized. The rain hit here sometime around 4:30, and it came down in buckets. Billy was out with friends, Rob was home redoing his room with the help of his girl friend and Katie was home just doing nothing. Sunday I felt horrible, bad headache and stomach ache. Relaxed most of the morning, did some grocery shopping later followed up with some TV and ironing. Not very exciting I am afraid.

Bill and I have been discussing the horse situation these last few weeks and how difficult it is getting to go out to see Daniel. The 35 minute ride out after working, the gas, the 35 minutes back home just wears me out and then add the stress of having to see Kim and Billy (a/k/a pool guy) does not help. We discussed it with Katie and had decided to start looking for something closer to home. We talked about going back to her old barn and taking lessons with a new trainer and keep our ears open for another half board just closer. Katie has mixed feelings about the situation. Well last week I found an ad "looking for half board" so I emailed the yound lady. Seems the horse is about 7 minutes from our house, he is younger then Daniel, just $35 more a month but think of what gas has been costing me 2 to 3 days a week. So I took Katie out to meet him on Friday night. Seems the horse and owner used to ride/work at Parkview (Katies old barn) and the young lady remembered Katie right away and vice a versa. Katie helped groom him, tack him up and she watched Nicole the ower ride him for a little bit then Nicole asked Katie if she wanted to give him a try. Well Katie was thrilled, he is quicker then Daniel and has lots mor spunk. She trotted him, cantored him and jumped him. She was very excited and after some discussion between Bill and I we decided to go for it. So I had to tell Daniel's owner we were not going to half board as of October. Really difficult thing for me to do but she understood completely. She knew there would come a time when Katie would outgrow Daniel. She also understood the travel situation. She told Katie she could always go out there and visit Daniel and even ride him if she wanted. So that made Katie feel better. So now we have a new horse named Amaretto. I will try to attach a photo. Katie is going to ride him again this Friday but I think its a deal. I spoke to the owner who is excited to have Katie. So Katie will have 3 set days to ride and care for him and he is minutes from here. The barn is a back yard barn but has two rings for riding. One is covered so you can ride in the rain and the other is completely open with jumps. It has trees all around which means it will be cooler in the summer, since Kims place was all open and no trees. I will have to invest in some serious mesquito spray, lol. Because it is in the woods. No word on the pool situation and I am sure our decision to change the horse will only lead to some angry feeling, but we shall see.

I do not remember much of what everyone has posted. Jdeb and Shar are enjoying a nice warm Sept up there. Karen is football crazy and looking forward to Zumba coming to town tonight (right?). Patty is without chickens this week? Donna's favorite football player might be hurt? Lori can not post during the day anymore because of a stupid boss (a man, right?). Nancy has been running back and forth with her MIL. Deb/Mn has sent Trevor back to college with mixed feelings. Susan your toe is still hurting, sorry about that. Your dd has gotten herself in a situation with the church/therapist which stinks and is not fair. Grace is settling in with the family and feeling better. Rhonda you my dear have gone through a difficult time and I am sorry. I know you will come out of this situation a stronger woman if that is possible since I find you have more strength then many of us. You are dealing with lots of stuff right now and I wanted you to know I am thinking of you, sending you my postive thoughts and prayers. Everyone else I forgot to mentions I am so sorry. Everyone have a wonderful day. I have to finish up here and head to the office. This is going to be a crazy week there.

Good Morning,

Once again I find myself saying can't be Monday already-but it is and time to start a new week.

So DD and BF are in a debate-they're invited to a wedding and it's "black tie" what would you assume the XY to wear? Obviously they're points of view are totally different. Just curious what your thoughts are on the wording.

Other DD and her BF are in a debate over 2 house they've looked at. He loves the one and although she like the other one she hates the backyard. The other one she loves and he only likes as he feels that to make it the house he loves it's going to involve too much updating. I do love to look at the links she sends to me to discuss the issues.

Plans for your Monday? The usual back to work day. My boss is out for one more day and not sure what the other boss 'schedule looks but three associates can cause their own kind of havoc. Expecting a good start to your week? Always hopeful on Monday that it will be a good work week, XY's will behave themselves and that the pieces of good eating and fitness lock together nicely. Is your fitness planned or are you just playing it by ear? Most days I have a fitness plan plugged into my head but by the end of the day I do find that I have to plan around the level of fatigue and my mood and see what will work for me. I'm still leary of any kind of cardio. It seems to be having an adverse effect on me so for right now I'm just planning on some lower body exercises.

Donna-really sorry to see the news about Tom. DD asked me this morning how you took the news. Her BF didn't take it too well.

Hope everyone has a magnificent Monday and an excellent start to the week ahead.

Good afternoon, all! You did it again Patty with me too with getting inside my head with your post. It amazes me how many times it happens and it seems to happen with others here too.

Changed it up big time today and went to a different gym and took the cardio fusion class. It was just what I wanted and needed...step with intervals using weights and a ton of abs at the end. I liked that she did back strengthening exercises too. I also woke up to a new feeling of committment and I feel like I am going to do it this time. The beautiful weather is helping.

I know I was gone again but having that party here really made things crazy around here. I needed yesterday to recoup and clean! We ended the day with the cesspools backing up and I am now waiting for the service guy to come with the pumper truck. What a way to start the week!!

So, I am back on WW and counting points and trying to eat foods that are permitted on the SBD. I am confident it will work this time!

The pain is getting less and less in my side and maybe it is finally healing completely. Keeping my fingers crossed because I need to get on that exercise wagon and stay there.

Hope all have a good week planned and I am committing also to get here more often.

Hugs

Grace

Nancy thoughts and prayers for your DS and DDinL. I sympathize with you with what you are going through with the kids and their decision making. Two years ago DS who is now living with me made a career change and I had bad feelings about it and well...I was right. But, I am here to support them in more ways than one and hoping they get the new start they need.

You put into words exactly what is going on with me with the stress eating. I do the same thing. If it was really serious, I wouldn't be able to eat a thing but the "smaller" stresses make me eat more. I am too at my all time high and I am embarrassed to meet up with everyone in Oct. I refuse to buy new clothes so I may be the worst dressed in DC. As far as our height...I can only say I am almost 5' tall. LOL!

Have a good day...it sounds like a busy one.

Nice picture Deb. I think you found the solution to the horse situation. I hope Katie goes for it and it works out. You just can't keep going at that pace especially with the cold weather coming on and the gas prices.

Things are really settling in nicely here and the girls love school and are starting dance today. Things were really going along great until the cesspools backed up last night. Ugh!

Well have a good day and a good week...roomie...

I think that black tie means a tux, but you can get away with a nice dark suit and tie. People today realize that everyone does not have
