Lori thanks so much for the Wednesday close............I don't think I have ever eaten hash before. Sorry you are worried about Sadie, I guess Lucky is to much puppy for her sometimes and she needs her space. I hope she responds well to the asprin. Our office always waits until we need something like yesterday.......drives me nuts. Hope your foot feels better. What kind of exercises does the doctor have you doing? Patty I hope you enjoyed your day off today and your lunch with your girl friend. Did you eat dessert? Did you buy those faux UGG boots? Katie bought a black pair before school started, they were like $21.00. She also bought a pair of EMU they were $75.oo, but are made in Australia like the UGGs. Might think about getting a pair for myself but with my hot flashes I am not sure I could wear them all day. Rhonda your day sounded pretty good after all. Glad Tim made you happy with the flowers. Nothing wrong with feeling like that. You both were together a long time and it is only natural. Hope your dance class tonight is good and fun. How was your birthday cupcake? Nancy glad you found and bought your Wii system. Is it like the game you interact with like bowling or baseball? I think I have heard Katie talk about it and I think my nephew has one. I can not bring one more electronic toy into this house. Plus Bill would never allow me to hook it up to our good TV in the den. Hope you have fun with it? Did you get it connected tonight? Kathy it was so nice to see a post from you today. We miss not hearing from you. So sorry you lost those 5 pounds under those circumstances but loosing them is better then gaining them. I am sorry to read about you and Jeff but I think if you are that unhappy you need to do what is right for you. Lets face you need to look out for number one! I also hope you like what you hear at the class regarding the lap banding. My co-workers son did it 1 1/2 years ago and has lost over 80 pounds and it has made such a difference in his life. He still watches what he eats and goes walking daily but it has helped him so much. Susan you said you were making sloppy joes in the crock pot, did you brown the ground beef first? Did you also mention making a meat loaf in the crockpot? If so would you share the recipe? How is the toe? Beautiful day we had today and tonight is even nicer. Any walk for Otto? Donna so are you going to go back on the South Beach diet again? It worked well for you last time, didn't it? Fitting in the exercise with your hours is hard, good luck. Jdeb hope your stress settled some. You were up early today. Bet you are feeling it tonight. How was your hair appointment? Did you say you were waxing or coloring your eye brows?

Well I have to tell you all that I posted a long post from the office around 1:0o but my computer froze and I gave up. So here I figured I would give you the scoop of the entire day. Mind you I made notes this morning while reading everyones post so I was cheating above when talking to each of you. My moring started when my boss called me at 7:20 begging me to come in at 8:00 to type some documents and a letter he needed for that closing. I told him yes with the understanding I needed to run to my bank immediatly afterwards to cover checks I had written out. He said fine. We met in our parking lot at 7:59 and as he got out of his car he proudly showed that he stopped and bought me

It was an OK kind of day at work. The day passed rather quickly which is always a good thing.

Foot doctor appointment went well. He was really pleased with the healing process and said it really looked good-in fact he said he usually doesn't see them heal as well as this has. Floored me a bit since I've been having so many issues. He just says that's how it is with anything that's broken. I have to continue to keep the toes taped but says I don't have to wear the shoe and can get back into wearing regular shoes. Of course that was my cue to try taking Otto out for a walk. I did pretty well and it felt so good getting out to walk. It bothered me at some points and it did feel good to get home and get the sneaker off but definitely was better than last Saturday's attempt. Instructions were to keep doing what I've been doing, keep it iced and one more follow up visit next month.

I had a call from an old friend today. We haven't seen each other for quite some time and it was nice to hear from her and we made a lunch date for next week.

DS did his Taco Bell run this evening and when he got back he wanted to know if I thought it was a bad thing that the people in Taco Bell recognize him and already know what he's ordering before he orders it! Can you tell he's a faithful Taco Bell patron?

I spoke to younger DD this evening. She and her BF took a second look at the house that she likes and he loves. He's a bit hesitant to make a bid right now since the house is still slightly out of their price range. He's waiting on a job promotion which would bring him more money but he doesn't want to jump in and then find out he didn't get the promotion. He wants to wait until he gets definite word but DD feels the house will probably be gone since they've dropped the price and they have a number of people looking and an open house over the weekend. I could tell that she's disappointed but you never know it still might be on the market if everything works out for him.

Deb-the sloppy joes in the crockpot didn't turn out so well. I actually used turkey meat instead of ground beef but I don't think that was the problem. When I saw how long they said to cook them on low I really thought it was too long a time and I was right. It was almost to the point where it burned in the crockpot. If I did them again it would be for a shorter period of time. My stovetop version is better-but thought I would give them a whirl. I will post the meatloaf in the crock pot-that was pretty good although the family prefers the oven method. Yes, I do brown the meat first.

Lori-hope Sadie is OK. I worry about Otto getting older all the time. He's got lumps and bumps all over him which the vet attributes to his age and has told us what we need to look for if they change.

Rhonda-I'm glad Tim thought of you on your birthday in such a nice way.

I really need to head to bed. I'm not sleeping that great lately and the days at work wear me out! Hope everyone has a good night's rest and see you all in the morning.
