"The End of Summer" Photographic Print

Good morning everyone. The picture above is called The End of Summer . Hard to believe another summer, another season is winding down. Hard too to believe that it's been seven years since the September our country was attacked. Our lives are made of moments and

Good Morning,

Yes, it certainly is hard to believe that 7 years have passed since that day that I think will always be imprinted in everyone's minds and one that I'm sure everyone remembers exactly where they were and what they were doing when they heard the news.

It's also our wedding anniversary. 32 years-also hard to believe. Certainly 32 years of ups and downs, good times and not so good times. We are planning on going to our favorite Italian place for dinner.

It's a cool rather gray day at the moment although we're told that the sun should be appearing at some point during the day.

It's the usual 9 to 5 and another day closer to Friday. I going to give regular shoes a whirl today but I'm making sure I have something else for my feet with me. It's healing well but still has it's moments which he says is normal and will probably continue that way for awhile.

Thankful for my conversations with my 2 girls each morning. It's so odd some days being the only female in the household. I'm thankful for my relationship with my kids and thankful for who they've become. Thankful that DS took the steps necessary to change his life to a better path than where he was headed. Thankful for 32 years-even if he is an H some days! Thankful for a good doctors report and that everything is healing better than expected. Thankful for those of gave of themselves 7 years ago to help in any way they could. Thankful for the freedom that we enjoy and so often take for granted. Thankful for all of you here and a place to share our daily successes and the ups and downs of our lives.

Patty very beautiful words this morning, I believe you expressed what myself and others are feeling daily. Thanks so much for saying that. I was late getting out the door this morning as I was watching the 9/11 ceromony on TV. Sad day and yes I remember the day clear as a bell. So much has changed in these last 7 years. I reflected upon that with my Rob this morning before he left for school. I really did not want to come in today but I had stuff to do. Already had a mini arguement with my spanish co-worker, not a good thing. It will be fine but sometimes I guess we just get under each others skins. Lots of stress going on in her family and around my office as I told you all before. It was my turn to review files a little while ago and my boss started off by handing me a check in the amount of $1,000.00. Now I know I can go to DC with a clear mind, pay for my sisters baby shower and get her a really nice gift without worry. It was his way of
