Happy fryday everyone!

Good Morning,
We don't see things as they are, we see things as we are.

Oh how true and how appropriate as I steal a glance in the mirror and am seeing what I call the stuffed sausage look. I just keep squeezing everything in tighter and tighter like sausage into a casing! Lack of exercise is definitely effecting my mood and being able to close the zippers on my pants. Tried to wear shoes yesterday-no go, sneakers yes up to a point and then wanted to rip them off by afternoon. I took them off when I got home, iced my foot and that felt better. I'm thinking about getting some different sneakers. I bought new ones when I was with DD in MA but I'm thinking about getting a pair of New Balance which seem to be a little wider in the toe area and see if that helps. I have an old pair of Easy Spirit which I think because they're stretched out a bit are more comfortable but they're so worn on the inside that it makes them uncomfortable in other ways.
Last night's dinner was so good. Definitely overate and there were no leftovers-hot antipasto for two, I had lobster ravioli with chunks of lobster meat in the sauce and I really was going to pass on dessert but they're also homemade as are their ravioli and sauces. And the tartufo was staring me in the face-that's vanilla and chocolate ice cream covered with a shell of dark chocolate along with a decaf cappacino. I probably ingested enough calories in one meal equal to about a month of meals! We rarely go out to eat so it definite indulgence!
It's back to the 9 to 5 but its Fryday! I like that! I always feel a bit fried by the end of the week. Of course having nightly dreams about the workplace haven't helped. Hopefully the workday will pass by quickly.
Donna-enjoy your day off! Karen-big hugs and prayers on whatever decisions need to be made. Li-Deb-very nice of your boss. It's always nice to hear job well done but certainly an added bonus is really nice! Nancy-I'm sure if I tried what you're doing I would probably come up a failure as well. I'm about as uncoordinated as they come and there are some days where I feel like I have a multitude of left feet! I'm sure you'll conquer that game! Deb/MN-how's the ankle doing? Rhonda-thinking of your dad and hope that things improve for him.
Well time is flying by (always at home never at work!)and need to get finished up for the workday ahead. Hope everyone has a fantastic Friday!

Susan, sorry your foot is still giving you pain. Have you thought of the Ryka line of athletic shoes?
Donna
Good morning, everyone!
I was up early this morning, considering I didn't have to be.
Donna
I'm sorry to hear your toe is still giving you trouble. I had very good luck with Brooks athletic shoes. They have a wide toe box. Mom has terrible trouble with the nerves in her feet and I wound up giving her those shoes, because for a long time they were the only ones she could wear.
Born has come out with wide widths, but they and other European comfort shoes, usually have wide toe boxes to begin with. When I had foot problems that's all I wore. www.thewalkingco.com

Great picture! I'd jump in. Love that saying. It's one of my favorites, and I think I have it posted on my profile page. It is so true.
I accidentally posted this morning's post under last night's.

so maybe I can kill two thighs with one serving of apple crisp and a walk at the same time.
