Good Morning,

I think DH and I must be listening or hearing different versions of weather for today. His weather version has me battoning down the hatches for storms coming and my versions are telling me the sun is going to shine, temperatures going up into the 80's and then cooling down this evening with temperatures in the 70's for the rest of week. I'm going with my version since the sun is shining.

Don't know what's up with the foot this morning. I'm hobbling around, the toe is purple and I'm going to have to take something to lessen the throbbing going on. This is getting really old! I know everyone keeps telling me to be patient and it takes a long time-but my patience is running thin!

I do have to make some tweaks in the diet and exercise routine-like I have to improve in both areas. I'm aiming for some type of workout at least 3x this week and cutting out the after dinner snack that has become a habit of mine. I'm hoping now that the weather is hopefully changing. A nice cup of decaf tea will hit the spot instead of some of the other things I've been eating after dinner. I started out the day on a good note with a bowl of oatmeal and cut up some apple to cook with the oatmeal. Topped if off with a bit of cinnamon and a little brown sugar and let that sit for a few minutes and a very tasty breakfast.

Monday has arrived once again way too soon and it's off to the 9 to 5. Home to get dinner ready and then depending on the foot issue will take Otto out for a walk and hopefully some type of workout.

DD called this morning. Word on the house offer is that they need to discuss something with their parents. So it wasn't accepted or rejected or even a counter offer put in. They will have some news by this afternoon. She's a nervous wreck with this going on, job issues, her upcoming business trip to Germany and it seemed like everything she was watching on tv last night involved a plane crash.

Patty-hope everything goes well with you sister and her follow up appointment. Chickens vs. men-I'll take the chickens unless they start talking!

Well, that's about it from my world. Hope everyone is doing well and has a magnificent Monday and a good start to the week ahead!

Nancy and Patty you both sound like you have pretty full days today. Hope you both find the day goes smoothly as planned. Nancy enjoy the warm temps while you have them, it gets pretty cold were you are. The knee is hard, good luck. Patty chickens vs men.......can't reason with either so to me its
