I tried about 2 dozen times to respond to my own post and I could not. Very furstrating. I was here this morning and read a few posts but never had to chance to respond or post my day. Let me say I managed to walk twice this week, yippie. So that makes me happy. Bill took the day off and went upstate with his friend, John to test the race motor on John's car. What ever............so he was up and out really early this morning. I got up at 6:15 and had my tea then I threw on some sweats and drove Katie to school. Came home, made my bed then headed to Sayville (3 towns over) to the 8:15 WW meeting. I rejoined and stayed through the meeting. Darn near had a heart attack when I got home and looked at my weight. Can you all say holy sh_t! I knew I was out of control but I did not realize how badly. So this is one fat Deb you are going to see in DC. This is the highest I have ever been even when pregnant. Not a good feeling but it did give me time to search what I need and want. So when I got back I read over my WW notes and will start fresh tomorrow morning. I made a huge grocery list and headed out. I planned on my meals for this week and I bought everything. I should have no reason to step into a grocery store this week. I will do a little prep work to make the week easier but I should be eatting healthier. I went to Costco first and bought a few things then over to Stop and Shop. I spend $153 in Costoc and another $271 in Stop and Shop. I purchased lots of fruits and vegtables, I grabbed some Lean Cuisine & WW frozen entrees and desserts. I never did exercise today but between the house clean up and the grocery store I am beat. I figure today is my free day and I just heard from Bill, we are going to hit the diner tonight. So I can have a cup of my favorite Seafood Bisque and maybe my favorite pasta dish. Then tomorrow its straight and honest with exercise. Wish me luck. The tile guy came and quoted us $500 to install instead of the $950 that came from the other guy. So he will do the tile in 2 weeks, he is booked until then. If he gets a cancel he will call us. Then this morning the floor guy came and he measured. I showed him what I liked, we compared the pictures in the book I had picked up from his showroom and he is going to price out a few options. I will drag Bill over tomorrow afternoon to finalize and hopefully order the floor. In the meantime my appliances were delivered and are sitting in the middle of the garage. what I should have done was had them delivered into my den and left them sitting in front of the wide screen TV. I guess since my MIL was ralleying on my side this week Bill has gotten the hint of my disappointment and anger and has agreed to work on tearing down the wall paper and moving the hutch out of the kitchen. Maybe, just maybe we can hit the paint store for the primer. We will need to prime the bricks that are on the one wall. Too much work and cost to rip the bricks out so I said paint them white, works??? Well I sure hope you all had good days today. Lots going on with older family members and younger family members.........Grace I hope your DS and your DIL make out alright with the move. Did they leave the kids with you while traveling back down to NC? Rhonda your Kenny Logins night sounded awsome. Glad you had such a good time and that your dad is feeling better. Nancy so sorry to read about your MIL taking a turn for the worse. My prayers and thoughts are with you, your husband and her. Patty, good luck with your new batch of chickens. Does it ever get easier? Karen sorry your DS could not make it through the day. He went through a tuff thing, I saw the pictures......yuck! Hope he mends quickly. Glad to read you are joining us in DC, I so look forward to meeting you. Ladies again, if I missed something I am sorry. Sometimes posting is difficult and I don't have the time to go back and read without loosing this oportunity. Have a good night everyone!

Read your post quickly Deb. Busy day as well as expensive. The whole family and dog went down to NC so DH and I have the house to ourselves for a couple of days.

Today was a washout. I blew it with dinner. It seems I cannot do more than 2 days in a row on program.

Tomorrow I have an all day workshop for ceu's for my AFAA certication. I probably will not be on the computer since the workshop is from 9 to 5. I am usually burned out after one of them. It isn't from working out. It is mostly from sitting very uncomfortably for most of it. Sigh...

See you all when I can.

Grace

Only 7:15 and already dark. That's the one thing I don't like about the change of seasons is the getting dark earlier and then when I leave work at 5 and it's totally dark makes me want to go home and go to bed!

The workday passed relatively quickly. My boss mentioned fun and Friday in the same sentence but that just doesn't go together unless you're not at work! The day also involved c*k*. One of our associates has a birthday this weekend so everyone's birthday is always celebrated with c*k*. And, unfortunately, that's something that I just can't seem to say no to.

I came home and one of the best things about after work on Friday is putting on my comfy clothes and knowing I don't have to cook dinner. Pizza was the menu for the evening. I would prefer a little more diversity in the take out menu on Fridays but since DH really loves his Friday night pizza and he's buying and flying I don't argue the point!

Otto and I headed out for a walk after dinner. We ran for the first few blocks-not sure how much my toe appreciated that-but the dog has a mind of his own and when he says go there's not much choice! It was cool enough that you needed a sweatshirt this evening.

DH had a wake to go to. The president of the Local passed away. I was stunned to find out he was only 50. I had only met him a couple of times and always thought he was much older.

Grace hope everything goes well for your DS and his family. I fully understand the fatigue that sets in with sitting all day. On the days where I'm virtually chained to my desk leaves me feeling exhausted!

Nancy-sorry to hear that there are more issues concerning your MIL.

Li-Deb-I would be positively insane at this point with the kitchen! I went nuts when my kitchen in the other house was unusable for a week while we were redoing it! Hope everything gets straightened out very soon!

Patty-wishing you lots of luck with the new flock!

Well I think I'm going to wander upstairs and put an ice pack on the tootsie and rip off this tape off the toes-it's driving me a bit squirrely!

Hope everyone has had a good day and may your dreams be pleasant ones!

Can you say "super weird" and call it a good day?
