I'm thinking Miss P has a whole lot of chickens going on so thought I would ask you what's on your Saturday agenda?

Good Morning although it's almost afternoon here in the Northeast.

I've been up since a little after 7AM and decided I had better get an early jump on the day. I've done my monthly Costco run. Every time I think I know where everything is in that store they move things around on me. I hate wandering in that place. I try just to get in and out with my list otherwise I end up spending more money than I should. I almost bought myself a paperback but in the interest of watching my pennies I decided using my library is a much better option.

Color and haircut is on the priority list. I feel like an overgrown shrub at the moment. I do hope she has the hedge clippers and the weed wacker ready for me and plenty of hair dye!

DS put a notion of beefstew in my head the other day and Costco had some nice looking meat to do the job. It's funny because I'm not a huge beef fan and actually not a stew fan but I guess it's the chill in the air early this morning that put that thinking in my head. I'll put it in the crockpot this afternoon. I hope he feels like joining us since part of the reason was his saying why don't you make something good like beef stew.

I have a bit of a headache this morning and a bellyache. Hope it passes by during the course of the day. Not sure what else is on the agenda. It is time to change the vaccum bag and get the dog hair up off the floor. Which in turn reminds me Otto is long overdue for a spa day so better get that on the agenda as well. My prescription is running low but that's in my local pharmacy but need to get on the phone and get that order in as well.

On that note better get myself back in gear! Hope everyone has a good day!

Good morning ladies, thanks Susan for getting us started. I think Patty's new birds were due late yesterday or today??? I bought stew meat at Costco yesterday too. Last time I made that type of meat in the crockpot I changed things a bit and it gave it lots more flavor. I enjoyed it more and I plan on making a batch this week too. I put the meat on the bottom, sliced about 2 medium size onions ontop. Mixed in a seperate bowl a can of Campbells French Onion Soup with a can of Campbells low fat Cream of Mushroom Soup. Then poured that over the top of the meat and onions. Then I added about a cup of Cooking Wine (red) (and

Hello, all...I should say good evening! Long day at the AFAA workshop. It was called Longevity Training for Seniors and I will get 5 CEU's for recertification. I realized that I am practically a senior and I guess I learned how to work out for me some day soon. NOT!!! However it is a fast growing population and what I learned will be useful with teaching Silver Sneakers and other things, like Zumba Gold, one day.

One good thing...learned we are considered middle age now when just a few years ago it would be considered old age. 40 to 65 is considered middle age and over is considered young old...LOL! It goes on from there.

I am wiped out and it is from sitting in a metal folding chair for hours. It was cold because it was in a workout room and it made everyone anxious to get out of there even though my favorite presenter was doing the work shop. What a shame we didn't have more comfortable accommodations.

Patty...good luck with the new flock and hope the head ache eased up. Lori...hope you go for Zumba and a workshop is near you soon. The one I am going to is a few hours away and my gf wants to go the night before. We will share a room but it will still add to the cost. Cha Cha Deb...sorry about the sleep issues but welcome to my world and probably most of the members here. LI Deb...WW is really cheap with the points. I remember when I first did it and we got 25 points a day and all fiber grams counted and foods could be counted as zero if there was enough fiber in it. Karen...how did DS do in school?

Can't remember what else is going on. My brain is fried for now...

Hugs to all and Rhonda...thinking about you and your family.

Grace
