Good Morning,

Another beautiful fall type day. A cool start to the day and then warming up into the 70's and then back down which makes for wonderful sleeping weather (if and when one can sleep)!

Plans for your Monday? Back to the 9 to 5 and not enjoying the fact that it's Monday again so soon! Lots of unfinished things around here that I know I won't feel like tackling this evening. Looking forward to fall or having a hard time letting go of summer? I'm always ready to let go of summer-I enjoy it while it's here but it's time to move on. Any plans to make one change this week to move you closer to your fitness goals? I did get my 3 workouts in last week but they were one right after another and now I'm back into the rut that I haven't done anything since last Wednesday. I've got to work on a better plan! I'll continue on really trying to eat the healthy things and overlook the not so good. There are just some days at work where there's an overabundance of tempting things.

I have a pork loin in the crockpot for Thai Pork with peanut sauce. Another experiment. My experiments haven't been working so well lately! Dog walking after dinner and then I have to decide whether to get a workout in or tackle the unfinished business of the weekend. Energy level just won't let me tackle both and if I do then I feel like I have absolutely no down time before going to bed and starting the whole process all over again. Exercise at the moment just seems to be another thing on the "to do" list and that's not really a good thing.

Nancy-hope things go well for your MIL today. Rhonda-continued prayers for your Dad.

Well time is getting away from me once again and need to finish getting ready for the paying job. Hope you all have a magnificent Monday and a great start to the week ahead.

Congrats on the weight loss, Lori! That is great that you worked out so consistently and mowing certainly does count. Keep up the good work! Hope you can even out the pros and cons and get rid of an obligation or two.

You certainly did better than I did!

Let us know how that pork roast comes out. You are so good with trying new things and I do believe you are the crock pot queen. Don't forget to post the recipe if it turns out well.

I opened the windows and now that it is breezy, it seems that the house getting colder. But, I am going to enjoy the dry cool weather as much as possible.

Have a good work week.

You just reminded me how much I enjoy stuffed peppers, how great they fit into my points for WW and the fact that I haven't had them in a long while. I wish I could go out to a garden and pick some to eat.

Good for you for having a great workout weekend. I took an all day workshop and the presenter mentioned how good the Walk Away workouts are and how they incorporate basically 4 differnt moves. It is called KISS...keep it simple stupid. Anyway, she said she met Leslie a couple weeks ago at some fitness conference she went to.

Thank you for the compliment. Just wish I taught more classes. For now I will sub when I can and take as many as I can.

Hello, all...I stepped it up a notch today and took 35 minutes of the spin class after the cardio fusion class. I probably could have done more but my knee was twinging and my butt was getting sore on those wonderfully comfortable bike seats. Ugh! My goal is to go longer next week.

Trying to figure out what I am going to do for DH's birthday but it is up in the air. If it is just the two of us for dinner, then it will be fish. If DDs come over then we will be sending out and I have no idea what for. It will be his choice and probably very fattening. I hope to make an apple cake or apple crisp to go along with the TCBY pie I picked up. Those frozen yogurt pies are one of his favorites.

I certainly feel fall in the air today and it feels good. Since we had 5 trees taken down for the installation of solar panels, there won't be as many leaves to rake. Not that I did it! I avoid all gardening as much as I can.

It stinks about perimenopause, and I am living proof that you have to run to stay in place. I didn't even succeed with that much. I do feel the exercise helped ease some of the symptoms for me except the sleep disturbances. Just know, after about 10 to 15 years, you will start feeling better. Hate to be a downer about that, but I wish someone had warned me that it could last that long. I am now experiencing the "joys" of being post menopausal. There is one aisle I don't have to go down any more at the grocery store.

Have a good week all...is it 12 more days until

Now you reminded me that I should clean. But, it looks like the family is coming over so why bother?

I never did a london broil in the crock pot but I have used them as a "pot roast". So I would guess it would work.

Your poor friend with the challenges she faces. You are all good friends to be so concerned about her and not being close enough to give her day to day support.

Hang in there with the whole perimenopause thing. I do have to catch up on my MORE magazines. I got a new one today.
