No idea what today holds other than work. We're suppose to have sunshine this afternoon so I may hit the track for a run. Dad

Good Morning,

Love the picture to start off the day. It's another beautiful day here. Blue skies, sunshine and fall like temperatures.

"I feel so much better about myself and simply life in general when I'm eating well and taking care of myself. It's up to me to remember that and do all I can to make it happen."

You must have been reading my mind this morning. I was really tired when I got home from work. I got out late for my walk with Otto, came home to work on the checkbook which is enough anxiety right there when I sit and look at money going in vs money going out and just my general mindset had me feeling overwhelmed and anxious about things in general. Then I realized that strike time if coming close. DH doesn't seem to be concerned and indicated that he felt that a contract would be signed without thoughts of a walkout-but when your mind isn't in the right place the thoughts of just when you think everything is settled you get the unexpected. Again, no control over any part of this-just a general overwhelmed brain! Needless to say, I didn't work out and so I'll take Miss P's words and try to apply them today because they are so true!

It's off to the 9 to 5 this morning. Hopefully DH will have the saucepot cooking and the water boiling for an easy meal this evening. The evening walk with Otto and then head to the basement for some type of workout. I have to say I get so very confused reading fitness articles and good food vs bad foods. This one says this and this study say this-all so mind boggling!

My experiment was actually pretty good although a bit on the spicy side. I knew when the recipe called for 2 tsps of crushed red pepper that I need to cut back on that. Even cutting the amount in half certainly added some "tang". I put it over brown rice and mixed a bag of stir fry veggies into the mix and if you need to clear out your sinuses it was the way to go!

Nancy-difficult and very stressful times with the MIL. Thinking of you.

Patty-hope your Dad gets to the doctor soon.

Rhonda-continued thoughts and prayers for you Dad and the family.

Well I guess that's about it. My laundry room is in a state of chaos which pretty much fits my mind set at the moment so I'd better head in there and see what I can do.

Hello, Everyone! Love the picture because it reminded me of the time when I wore plaid skirts to school. Boy, that was ages ago! Love the leaf hat!

Today was the killer 1 1/2 hour body sculpting class. I think I would have been happy if the instructor only did 40 lunges. I lost count because she did a number of different kinds of lunges.

Be like a postage stamp.  Stick to it until you get there.
