Good morning everyone. I wish yesterdays pic would have shown up. It was of a cartoon type character looking in the mirror. One one side you saw her and then in the mirror you saw a

Good Morning,

We have a rainy, nasty day here as well. DD was talking about coming down from MA. Not sure what she decided. I would think she would want to stay put for the weekend after the trip to Germany. But then again she's 26 and I'm 55!

I've had my breakfast and need to get dressed to get Otto out the door for his day of beauty. Of course, it's supposed to rain today so it won't take long for the freshly groomed King to turn from the dirty dog smell to wet dog smell. Not sure which is worse!

I'm hoping to really feel like cleaning the house today. It really hasn't had a good dusting and all the stuff that goes along with that. I also want to get some of my fall things out. Of course those plans are subject to change if DD comes down.

Exercise needs to be on my agenda. Your post this morning really did hit the spot with me this morning and I need to take that time to take care of myself.

Patty-hope things continue to do well with your flock! And the XY's well....Deb already has a hole dug!

Li-Deb-hope things progress with the kitchen! I would be stark raving looney at this point!

Nancy-you really did have a very productive day yesterday.

Rhonda-hope you had a safe flight. Hope that your Dad has been able to get settled back in the nursing home. Continued thoughts and prayers for him.

Lori and Donna-sorry to hear that both of you may be working today.

Well better get the show on the road so I can get a start on the day. Looking at the pile of mail around here. That may be an all day project in itself!

Hope everyone has a super Saturday!

Good morning everyone! Another rainy day here, yuck! Bill left last night with his friend down to Maryland, I have not heard back from him yet this morning. I would so over the racing by now........wait I am over all the racing by now! So no kitchen work this weekend. I guess that is why he worked like a dog last week and a couple of nights during this past week. I need to work on getting the rest of the wall paper down, its a mess and unfortunately those walls were never prepped correctly and I am going right down the unpainted sheet rock when I peel off the two layers of wall paper. We will need to call a sheet rock guy in to make a decision here. But other then that we are on hold until the tile and floor get installed, like I said should be one day next week (my fingers are crossed). Then we can put the appliances in and we can finish up the rest over the last few weekends in October. Basically I gave Bill the dead line of October 31 - November 2 weekend or no turkey dinner! I am sure you are sick about hearing me kitchen woes and you think I have been very patient, which I have but my other alternative to cause a scene would not be getting me anywhere plus that is not how we work. I know if work along with him it gets done, I just need to make sure he follows this through till the end and does not go onto another project like his garage. Back to today.........we have rain and I wanted to walk outside but I guess it is out of the question so in a minute I will throw my sneakers on and do my WATP tape up in my room with the AC on. Then into the shower and get my day moving. I have some banking to do for Bill for the business and then I need to touch base with my sister. We are going to cook a steak dinner for our parents tonight for their 50th anniversary. Not really exciting but better then nothing. I thought I would look into some lobsters to go with the steak. After yesterdays diner and then Chinese buffet it is back to points. Can not undo the 2.4 gone. I need to hit the store for some food for tonight and figure out what time to be over at my sisters house. Not really very exciting here nor is it stressful so that is good. I do wish I could just lay on the couch and watch TV all day since it is miserable out there but I am not that kind of gal, lol. I would drive myself nuts. Well have a good day everyone, stay dry those with the rain like us here in NY.

"The energy it takes to eat well and exercise often is infinitely less than the energy it takes to deal with illness. Take a moment to steer yourself in the right direction if tense, stressful times have put you off your usual health regimen."

Boy, does that put the value of exercise and eating heathily into perspective.
