Good Morning,

Excellent message once again Miss P!

Looks like the weather is taking a turn for the better after a weekend of rain and nasty humidity. Blue skies seems to be taking over and the sun has reappeared.

We had a nice birthday celebration for DS. Although his Fudgie the Whale cake was candleless since Mom saw the candles when she was cleaning out the kitchen drawer, and put the candles in a safe place. Just couldn't quite remember where that safe place was! He and his GF took a ride into NYC yesterday to a bakery called "Crumbs". The most unbelieveable cupcakes which we had alongside the Fudgie the Whale. I don't even want to think about it this morning! All I know is the stomach that used to be able to eat all that stuff without a problem can't anymore even without the thoughts of the expanding waistline!

It's back to work I go this morning. I have a feeling that it may be a long work week as I'm eagerly awaiting the Friday getaway to DC! Hopefully it will be one of those weeks that keep me occupied and out of trouble. I'm not even sure the other boss knows I'm going to be out since he never returned my memo. Amusing how he asks for these things and how we have to "request" the time but more times than not we don't get an answer. But the one time we forget for whatever reason he goes running into the partner to make sure he knows how we didn't comply.

Poor Otto hasn't been out in several days so a walk will definitely be on the agenda after dinner. And some time on the treadmill will also be on my agenda.

Nothing much else on the agenda except maybe sock sorting and a trip to the bank and of course the ever present 9 to 5! Hope everyone is doing well this morning and ready to start the week ahead!

I need to make this short as I am alone in the office right now and the phone seems to go off in spurts. Patty great message this morning but then again they always are. Thanks for the time you put into these morning posts........I do not think you realize how much we enjoy them and how much they help us. Thanks again! Well my morning started off with Katie at 5:30 with yet another migrane headache. I am unsure of what do to. I need to start journeling her food too and see it this plays a roll. I think it does, she is a candy junkie and I think the sugar might be a big part of this picture. Anyhow she stayed home, the fact that there is no school tomorrow or Wednesday because of the Jewish holiday means she should not be missing much. So I was up with her at 5:30, went back to sleep till 6:10 (we were raining to no morning walk), went back to bed until 7:00 and then I was up for the day. Aunt Flo decided to greet me this morning too. Better today then later in the week. By DC she should be hardly around (I hope since she can be so unpredicable lately). Had to get Rob and Bill both out before 8:00 too. Anyhow I did some laundry, washed some dishes, made my bed and then got ready for work. My co-worker followed our boss to the Autobody shop to drop his car off so for the moment I am alone. But when one phone rings all three go off. I packed my bags with my breakfast and lunch. At lunch time I need to run to the grocery store. I pulled out a recipe from one of you ladies that was called Honey-Pineapple chicken and I want to get the chicken at lunch time and get it marinating for the afternoon. They I will wrap it in foil and put the chicken on the BBQ. What shall I make with it?? Some ironing when I get home while dinner cooks and my game plan is to either take a walk or go upstairs and do my Core tape, either way I will do one of them for me, like your message said.

Patty good job on the two days of exercising, Nancy glad hubby is going to help you, I understand grabbing the chance while you can. Sorry to read about your MIL trouble. Susan a congrats to your DS on his birthday. At least the afternoon cleared for a while to celebrate. I guess that is if for the moment. Got lots to do and I need to get it done so I can blow this popicle stand at lunch and at 5 on time. Have a great days everyone!

Quick check-in. Wonderful post and pretty picture this morning, Patty. We've been on the run for 3 days and are taking a day to recoup a bit. Sun is out, which is nice.

I'm getting very excited about the DC trip with everyone. It will be here before you know it. :-) Is anyone getting in around lunch time?

Rhonda I think it takes an average of 5 hours to drive to DC from Long Island. Traffic plays a huge part of coarse. I think our game plan (if Grace and Susan agree) would be for Grace to meet me at my house around 9:00 then we will drive to Susans. It is the tail end of our morning rush hour traffic into the city and over the bridges. We should be to Susan by 9:45 to 10:00. I think on the road shortly after that. I will figure 5 hours from Susans house putting us into DC around 3ish. What is everyone travel plans...........actually I will take this to email just for privacy issues.
