Good morning everyone.

Good morning.

Good Morning,
I guess a lot of us are feeling fall in the air this morning. We're at about 58 this morning and although the house is feeling a bit on the stuffy side it's not that way outside.
I'm having serious wardrobe issues this morning. We're at that in between time of the year and nothing seems quite right this morning-too light, too heavy and feeling a bit like Tubby the Tuba this morning is not helping.
It is my Friday today and hoping I can convince them to hand over the paycheck a day early. I can't do anything with it today but it would save me an early AM visit to the office tomorrow morning.
I'm going to stop at the nail salon after work and then home for some leftovers for dinner. I'm sure that a trip to the drugstore for some last minutes items will probably be necessary. I need to make sure that Otto gets out for a walk. I'm not sure how much that will happen while I'm gone. Last time I was gone for a few days Otto was not a good boy so I'm trying to make sure that everyone (including DD) will try to stop by when they can to make sure he's behaving himself.
Thankful for the roof over our heads, food on the table jobs and health insurance. Thankful for safe travels for DD over the last few weeks. Thankful for the upcoming weekend. Thankful for family and friends. Thankful for the colors of the trees that are starting to take place here.
That's about it from here. Hope everyone has a great day!
Susan
It is indeed Friday for me, and good morning!
Morning arrived here cloudy, drizzly and cool.

Excellent quote, Patty. I'm thankful to get to spend time with my family up here, the reunion activities that allowed me to see so many friends, and the upcoming FOF gathering. Tomorrow's the day, DC Ladies!!! I can't wait to see you.
It felt as though the seasons changed here yesterday afternoon. The leaves really haven't started turning here much, but there are lots of deer around. There was a large one in my sister's yard the other day and a smaller one yesterday. I've seen them alongside the road -- last night two medium small ones close to the road on the way to dinner and a fawn peeping around a tree on my way home. They are so pretty. Lauren said she could see one every window the other day. Got to see the girls' tae kwon do lesson the other day, which was a real hoot.
Saw 4 friends for dinner last night. My childhood best friend's ex has a band that will be playing Friday night at that restaurant to celebrate it's 20th anniversary, but I will be in town. I haven't seen him since I was 16, but I'd rather see you guys! ;-) Notice how everything happens at once though?
Dad had a bad day yesterday, but seemed to do a little better last night. Mom said he is failing. I am trying to prepare myself for the inevitable, but I'm not sure you can ever really do that.
Had a good chat with Rob Tues. evening and he sounded so MATURE!! LOL! He has so much to learn and do to get boat crew certified by the end of the week. It's hard when they keep him on radio room watch so much. His girl friend and her mom are going down to check out apts. soon and said I could go. Since my whole Oct. is taken, I said I'd love to do it if it's in Nov.
I hope everyone is doing well, that

Thankful for ALL of you today. I feel like I am losing my mind, but I guess I should be thankful I have a mind to lose. I am having trouble as to what to pack too. Same issues...things don't fit right and I don't want my feet to hurt. I don't want to be an ugly American tourist and wear sneakers. Bad enough my side is hurting a lot again and I really think it is the red yeast rice.
I better get my act together. It was crazy again today with family in and out and getting to the gym. Some days I am just overwhelmed, but I am thankful for family and friends and not matter how confused they get me. LOL!
I have to go for now and get dinner together. The grand kids are doing homework, DIL is at work, and the laundry is going. I need to get some sleep!!!
Be back soon...
Grace
