Good morning Miss P and all. I'm still thinking about pumpkin...And I am a scientist and I can tell you that apples in pie are probably just the same as a regular old apple...Of course, I'm a chemist so that may not count...

We're cool and very rainy here this morning.

Good Morning,

Our weather sounds much like it was here yesterday. By the time I got out Otto out I was glad I had on long sleeves underneath my "borrowed" sweatshirt. Yes, I do like other inhabitants of the household sweatshirts and coats for dog walking purposes!

I woke up thinking was Thursday and DH didn't help when he asked me if I was sure it was Wednesday. No one needs to confuse me more than I'm already confused.

Another day of working the 9 to 5. These 5 day work weeks are vastly overrated. Never sure what the day will bring. When I anticipate a slow day it can turn out to be the opposite so I'm refraining from anticipating.

My potatoes are all cubed up and ready to toss into my dinner selection of clam chowder. It's made with canned clams and actually cream of mushroom soup, but you toss in the red potatoes and some celery and fresh mushrooms and it's quite tasty. And a loaf of buttermilk bread from the bread machine should make it just right. It's one of the few things that DS really enjoys that I make so since it's an early night for him we'll see if he comes sniffing around. Of the three kids he was the least fussy about what he ate and has turned around to not like much of what I cook and my fussy eater is now seen eating tofu and edamame. Go figure.

I'm thinking it's going to be a rather brisk walk with Otto this evening. One good thing about the colder weather and dog walking is that Otto picks up the pace. Although he still does his usual amount of pole and tree sniffing his stops aren't quite as long. After that I'll head to the basement for a workout. It may just be one of my walk videos but one of those was the one with all the squats and lunges which I'm still feeling this morning.

Kathy, I was glad to see a post from you. Sending you hugs and thinking of you. Ignore the insensitive clods! Donna-good to see a post from you as well. Waving hi! Karen-how's everybody feeling in your house? Nancy-how's the knee doing with the PT exercises. I know it helped my issue a lot and now that I'm not doing them on a regular basis I can really feel it. Margo-hope you're finding that time to take care yourself. Li-Deb and Deb/MN missing you around here. Patty-your BIL certainly is an interesting individual and not in a good way. Thinking of all of you and wishing you a wickedly wonderful Wednesday!

Susan
