Not used to seeing a morning post from our Miss P but she mentioned something about some of her chickes leaving this morning. Unfortunatly I have nothing smart to say or motivational. But as I post in a minute about "me" I would like to advertise a two for one........my husband is getting the shovel anyone else want to get in on the deal.........Hope today is a good day for everyone and as we lead into the weekend any special ideas or thoughts?

As I said it is a two for one sale at Deb's house. After I logged off it was WWIII here. SH ( S=stupid and H=husband) started banging stuff in the kitchen. "What is wrong" asked the SW (S=smart and W=wife). SH says "I am done with this *&%$^)@,

Good Morning,

I think I'm glad that I'm not at Deb's house! I can feel the frustration. We've had lingering projects around here. Nothing to your magnitude-more like he starts something and then walks away from it and never returns. They're more like stupid things that sometimes I can overlook and sometimes I look around and just complete frustration overtakes me. I would undertake a few of them myself but there's the whole time thing-like not enough hours in the day. More working hours than at home hours. I do hope the flooring guys will be able to finish the subfloor and get your floor in place. Meanwhile lots of shovels in place here!

Speaking of XY's-I was glad to hear from DD this morning that the BF was around. I was on the phone with her yesterday afternoon and I could feel the steam through the phone. There are some days that I wonder about these two getting married. I think living with him has certainly been an eye opener for her. He doesn't seem to be able to move to far forward from his bachelor life. He recognizes what he does and takes one step forward and then 3 feet back. They are an interesting couple to say the least.

It should be an interesting day at work today. Both bosses are gone for the day. I don't know quite what they're expecting leaving the clerical staff left to their own devises today. We officially called casual Friday so we will all be clad in our jeans. There are two TVs in the place so there may be periodic checks to see what's on the Food Network (we all love to cook and eat!) or perhaps a Lifetime movie! I actually do intend of catching up on the filing. It would be nice if that mess was cleaned up. Our part timer will be in so between the 2 of us maybe we can clean up the chaos that is the file room. And in any event-hooray for Friday!

There is no exercise on the agenda for the day. Friday is just a day where I rejoice that the work week is behind me. Takeout is on the menu, comfy clothes as soon as I walk in the door and an entire of evening of doing what I feel like doing!

I got my Cooking Light magazine yesterday and already have some ideas brewing for menu ideas. I have custody of the engaged couple on Sunday so wheels are already turning about a roasted chicken. I like that on a Sunday and I also saw a recipe in one of my other Cooking Lights for a Mississipi mud cake. I've been trying to avoid dessert during the week but I do enjoy making something for Sunday. Just seems like Sunday dinners require dessert.

It's a bit nippy here this morning. Temperatures only in the 30's this morning and frost is on the windshield. Tomorrow is supposed to be rainy and nasty.

I guess that is it from my neck of the woods. Deb/MN I was happy to see a post from you yesterday. Donna and Kathy hope things are going OK up there in MA. Patty-hope everything is OK with you.

Hope everyone has a Fantastic Friday!

OK here is the update. I called SH.........yes he is still SH and the floor guy could have done the subfloor had he brought his tools but since SH told everyone he was doing the work he did not bring the correct stuff. So the new schedule is Bill will either finish this himself over the weekend or the floor guy will finish up on Monday. In the meantime SH tells me we will pull the old cealing fan down and buy a new one at Lowes tomorrow and paint the cealing. He will work on the electric boxes on the two walls and put up the rest of the sheet rock and maybe get the painting done..........I am still mad and upset and extremely disappointed but there is nothing I can do about it now. Believe me he will be busy this weekend and him giving me flowers.....probley not. But dinner out or take out........I aint cooking.
