Hope everything is OK with our Miss P.

Hope everyone is feeling well this morning. Exciting plans for Saturday and the weekend or a time to catch up or maybe just some to time to rejuvenate yourself from the week behind you?

Deb you are like the energizer bunny.......slow down a little. Let me get this straight then. You are leaving when to head down to Florida? Did you say tomorrow? You are staying in Disney at the Grand Floridian for like 4 nights? Thursday you head over to the Peabody for the Zumba convention and stay at the Peabody until Sunday where you guys head home from there. Did I get that right? The Peabody is the hotel with the ducks, right? Now if you are facing the Lagoon then you will be in the same wing we stayed in. Nice and quiet because it is off the Main part but like by 100 or so steps. There is a fancy smancy restaurant that sits along the water in-between two of the hotels wings. We did not eat there for a few reason......very pricey, long wait, very pricey, and very fancy (could not pronounce half of what was on the menu). Menu's are posted outside the restaurant for viewing which makes it easy. Now the night we decided to stay near we ate in the Grand Floridian. It was right by one of the doors you will be using to go to your wing and the pool. Look for the desk where they try and sell you a Time Share with the Disney Package, the restaurant was by there and the regular gift shop. Check out the fancy gift shops upstairs, the clothes were gorgeous (flip flops were like $90.00, lol). It was fun to look. Now one thing we did discover when we stayed was we should have taken the meal plan. In the long run it pays for itself. Now going off my memory of how it works, I believe it covers breakfast, mid-day snack and dinner in any of the restaurants. Not lunch but snack. At the time we booked it we did not think it was worth it but discovered as we purchased our food it was. What the one meal cost us in the restaurant in the Grand Floridian was like over $80.00 alone for the three of us. Had we done the meal plan it was like $50 something per person a day. And we did do breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner........with Katie, she can eat, lol. The Wilderness Lodge has nice restaurants too and you can get to them by bus. In the Contemporary some really great food and done with the mono rail. They do not have a Downtown Disney but something similar where Planet Hollywood is.......I think that is what it is called. Oh Epcot has some really great dinning because of all the international areas.........actually 80% of Epcot is the international eating. Oh you are going to have so much fun. Take lots of pictures and share. Safe trip if you are indeed leaving tomorrow.
