Anyone else ready for bed? Was a quiet day on the board. Sure the day I am around everyone disappears, lol. Well what did the rest of you ladies do today? Were you busy with projects? Did you start one or finish one up? Did you eat well? Did you have fun? Did you visit with friends or stay close to home and enjoy a book or magazine? What kind of day did everyone have? Anyone want to share?

Well I don't mind letting everyone know what happened in my little world. Morning was pretty quiet and laid back. I guess we all needed it. I got some laundry done and beds made. Bill took Katie out to the horse, I finished up around here and met them at the barn. Bill stayed and watched her ride a while, which made Katie very happy. Daddy was very impressed with his little girl on that horse, lol. From there Katie and I made a stop at Quiznos for something to eat. I split a Sandwich with Bill when we got home. I helped him measure the floor and cut the wood. We got it perfect and right about the time we finished up the skies opened up. We cleaned up, I made some fresh coffee/tea and well he sat down and watched some recorded drag racing while I ironed some clothes. Katie was upstairs doing her homework and putting her laundry away. We measured for the molding and by then it was almost 6:00. By then it was pouring rain and no one felt like showering and getting redressed to go out to dinner. I had ham steaks in the frig so I fried them up with some scrambled eggs and toasted some whole wheat english muffins and called it a meal. It was just Katie, Bill and I anyhow. We cleaned up and then the fun started. I came on the computer to check the board, Bill went upstairs to shower when I see our spot lights go on and a strange man walking along the side of my house??? I yell up to Bill, look out the window and realize it was the police. OH NO! I threw open the door to see our old cable line has been pulled off the side of the house because one of our large trees along the street had a big branch knocked off and it took the cable with it. Thank goodness we have Verizon Fios and the line is no longer in use. But the police officer thought it might have been a live electric wire and it was hanging draped over Bill's station wagon. Now the fun part...........here we are the three of us (Bill, myself, and the police officer)disconnecting the line from the house, trying to roll it up and throw it across the street so no one runs it over or gets hurt and then Bill and I begin to pull the huge branches out of the road. We do a few then decide to do the heave-hoe together for the biggest one. We pulled twice and it did not budge, we pulled a third time the branch stayed and Deb was down for the count. I fell on my backside, rolled over like a rolly-polly onto my back and head. As I hit the ground I tinkled in my pants. My jeans got soaked when I hit the grass. Thank goodness no one was watching other then Katie. She was sitting on the porch hysterical. So here I sit with my PJ's on, going to make some tea and then go to bed. We will head to Lowes early tomorrow morning with plans on buys the last of the kitchen stuff. So how about you ladies..........can anyone top my night, lol.
