Good Morning,

Glad to see you back Miss P. Sorry to hear that you were sick and hope that you are feeling better. So who exactly selected that pick up schedule? Must have been a man!

After a gloomy day yesterday and then heavy wind and rain last night, the sun has reappeared. It was rather warm yesterday and not sure what the temperature is like out there since I haven't poked my head out the door as of yet.

While Deb and Bill were wrestling with branches last night I was sound asleep in the chair. I don't know what happened to me yesterday but I just wasn't in the mood to do anything. I ended up with a vicious headache shortly after I finished my workout. These aren't new to me but usually they come on slowly and I can beat them off but this literally hit me head on. It eased up after lunch and getting some caffeine into my system but my afternoon it was back again. I did sort through some clothes and got my summer stuff put away and most of the fall/winter stuff in place. Obviously didn't accomplish much of what I had planned.

I figured with falling asleep so early I would be wide awake at an indecent hour but I actually slept until after 7AM. I guess the old body was trying to tell me something. I had some leftover pumpkin from last weeks pumpkin bread and made some pumpkin pancakes this morning. They were so good. I also diced up and apple and tossed it with some brown sugar and cinnamon and microwaved it to put on top of the pancakes. A really nice fall breakfast.

Grocery shopping is on the Sunday morning agenda and then a mani/pedi. Home again and I hope to finish off the laundry. I did get a lot of that done yesterday but still have one in the dryer and some of my work clothes need to be whirled and twirled. DD and her BF are in my charge for Sunday dinner. I have thoughts of roasted chicken and roasted garlic red potatoes and that Mississippi Mud Cake from Cooking Light keeps going through my head so I think I'll making that for dessert. My filing still isn't done from last week's round of bills and here it is Sunday again and time for more bills and filing and maybe I'll then be able to see the top of my desk. I'm nearing the end of my book as well and hope to finish that up. I don't have any type of workout planned. I had a great one yesterday on the treadmill with walk/run/incline intervals and then a lower body workout which is sending me reminders of it this morning. Walking the King will probably be my workout unless somewhere in the midst of everything I get out and get some sunshine for myself. I would love the thought of getting my bike out but I fear that when I open the shed it's probably buried in there and trying to get it out will only be a source of frustration for me.

I have "Shakespere in Love" from Netflix and if I think that I can stay awake past 8:30 this evening I'll pop that into the DVD player.

That pretty much rounds out my day. Hope you all enjoy a great Sunday!
