Good Morning,

A beautiful day in the neighborhood so far. Weather people talking about rain and falling temperatures moving in. But for now...looking nice.

Still in a bit of denial that the weekend is over and another work week looming. I didn't sleep well last night which is never good to start off the day. My boss is back in and will be in the office all day and the other boss still on vacation. Never can tell what the day will bring with it.

Starting off the day with high hopes of meeting my goals for the week. I have a hard time with goals and going to try my best to meet my goals on a daily basis. If I have a bad day I have to remember that it's just one day and doesn't mean that I can't start over again with renewed determination. The day looks like this so far-the 9 to 5, dinner, Otto walking and down to the basement for at least 30 days. Healthy eating and remembering to drink those water bottles that sit on my desk are also on the agenda. Hopefully the pieces of the puzzle will fit together nicely today.

Trying out Chicken Tamale casserole from Cooking Light this evening. Hope it tastes as good as it looks in the picture.

Spoke to younger DD this morning. She's back in MA after being in NY for the company's trade show. They signed their initial whatever for the house that they're buying. I'm used to the NY way of doing things and it's weird to hear the differences with buying a house. Right now they're scheduled to close the day before Thanksgiving which technically means they need to be out of the house they're living in that weekend since its the end of the month. I think she's really nervous and reality of what they're doing is beginning to sink in. Plus she lives with a bit of a procrastinator who hasn't even thought about going through things before they move. He's more of throw it into a box and worry about it later.

Patty-sorry to hear about all the mumbo jumbo going on with getting your birds out. If you need any help with those holes-help is on the way! Hope everything is ok with your dad.

Everyone have a great day and a good start to the week ahead!

Good morning. I just wanted to check in and let you know that you are all on my mind and how much you all mean to me. You are such amazingly wonderful friends and I think about you a lot. I still am swamped with lots of details that need to be taken care of, including job hunting that will start this week, so the last 2 weeks have flown by. We took Rob back to the Coast Guard station yesterday. We both hated for him to go. My sister from MD, his best friend, and his girl friend went with us, so that was nice. My sister is going to try to stay here several extra days and will stay at the house with me.

An extremely positive development is that although I must get rid of my Explorer, Mom came through to help me pick up a phenomenal deal on a PT Cruiser that I found by chance on our drive downstate. I truly believe it was an answer to prayer. I drove it back, so I don't have to go all the way down to Melbourne (about 2 hours south) to get it. I will turn the Explorer in as soon as I've used the gas. That will be one really large bill less to worry about and it's in my name.

Rhonda hugs to you, so glad to see a post from you. I am glad to read that you are making progress. It is going to be a long journey for you. Good news on the car, those PT Cruisers are so cute. I hope you get things settled and moving along smoothly and quickly. You have lots of stuff on your plate ahead but it sounds like you have a pretty good game plan. I am sure it was difficult for Rob leaving you and you for seeing him go. When is the next chance he will have to come home? If you need or want to talk you know where I am, I text all time and since I find myself sitting at that barn with Katie for almost 3 hours on Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday do not hesitate to contact me. You know all of us are here for you 24/7 and we miss and worry about you. We all love you too!

Rhonda,

So very glad to hear from you. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you and how your doing. In fact DD asked about you as well yesterday. Must have been really difficult for Rob to leave. You continue to be in my thoughts and prayers and hope things continue to move in a positive direction.

Hugs,

Susan
