How were things in your corner of the world today?

It was a rather busy day in the office. I have one rather nutty (ok we have more than one but this one surfaced today)who never fails to amuse me. I really think he's a few cards short of a full deck but after talking to him I realize that I'm really quite sane! Things were a bit on the chaotic side by the end of the day and it was good to say farewell to the working world.

DD called right before dinner. The house inspection went pretty well. Of course there are always a few issues that have to be addressed. But on the plus side he said the house was really built well, a good heating system running at about 94% efficiency. On the down side there are some chimney issues that might make it so they can't use their fireplace until the issues are corrected, a few electrical issues that in mind the seller needs to address and some siding issues around the windows that wasn't done properly and somewhere down the road will have to be corrected and a hot water heater that might have to be replaced sooner than later. Doesn't sound like anything that is a deal breaker and more or less sounds like welcome to the world of home ownership.

It was turned cold and the wind is whipping around outside. Wind gusts up to 50 mph are expected for tomorrow. There was definitely no dog walking activity this evening. At point I was standing with the back door open while Otto decided whether he should venture out or hold it in for a bit longer. Meanwhile I'm standing there freezing. He finally decided to wait a bit longer.

I just finished up a good workout. Treadmill time with intervals of walking/running/incline, a weight workout and stretching. It sure did feel good. Eating has gone well and working on the last of my 48 oz of water. Goals completed for the day!

Shar-congratulations on the pictures sold! I really do love your work!

Karen-sounds like a fun with all your pumpkin looking and decorating!

I'd better head to the shower before DS gets home and looking to use the hot water-think I'll beat him to it!

Hope everyone has had a good day and pleasant dreams everyone!

My day yesterday was way too busy and I never had a chance to get back on line. Work was totally insane and I never left my office until 5:00. Thank goodness Katie did not mind skipping the horse yesterday, our weather was cold, windy and wet. The extra hours are going to be used for a few Thursdays off to be combined with my Fridays to go up to CT and help my sister after she has the baby. So I am really keeping track of them. Last Friday was 5 hours and yesterday another 2 hours! After work I stopped off at the butcher shop to buy some 95% ground beef for some chili. While there they had just taken an oven stuffer filled with stuffing out of the oven and put it onto the counter.............hmmmm, looked good, smelled even better. I quickly asked is that bird taken? Its mine! So dinner was easy and healthy, all I did was add some vegtables and a few slices of fresh rye bread to the meal! No boys home again tonight so no applainces. I guess it is alright, the rain was wicked. I believe I heard Bill say Billy would help him tonight. My fingers are crossed. I guess I really should have rethought my challenge for myself because exercise is nonexistant.

Quick and late check in since the day got away from me again yesterday. I did get to class and did the 1 1/2 hour body sculpting class. I will give myself 1 1/4 hours for it since I pooped out a couple of times.

So...3.25/7 hours of exercise so far. Eating could have been better. I watched portions but stress got to me. I talked to the cardiologist and his harping on me got to me again. I did do at least a half hour of Zumba practice.

Great job to you WW point counting people. I do know I HAVE to write everything down.
