I have absolutely no idea what happened to me last night. I had pretty much come in the door at 5 feeling exhausted. Dinner was pretty much done in the crockpot so that was a good thing and after dinner I headed out with Otto for our walk. I walked in that back door and saw the sink piled with dishes and the kitchen to be cleaned up and nobody around except me myself and I. I probably should have headed to the basement at that point but instead I cleaned up the kitchen and truthfully as many conversations I had with myself about heading downstairs the taking of a hot shower and getting into my pjs won out. I think I was asleep in the chair a little bit after 9 and in bed before 10.
I've been on the hamster wheel since before 6 finishing up laundry and getting things ready to put into the crockpot for Italian Wedding Soup for dinner this evening and ingredients into the bread machine for some bread to go with it.
Exercise will be head shrinking this evening as DD likes to call it. I'm very on edge the past few days some explainable others not so much. There's all kinds of things going on at DH's job and none of them very good and him being on the bottom rung of the ladder and with boss' minds that are really unexplainable and his sometimes volatile temper in situations like this probably explains part of the unease. I've been experiencing more than my normal amount of palpitations and they're different than the usual ones I have so I should keep a little bit better track of when they happen. I have been eating well though and drinking lots of water. Water this time of year always presents a challenge for me.
The work day is looming ahead. I think the other boss is back today although he may just be in to catch up before he's actually in the office so to speak.
Thankful that we have a warm house in the winter and a cool house in the summer. You girls here who add so much to my every day. A job to help pay the bills around here. Family, my faithful walking partner and just life in general.
That's about it. I'm going to get that last load of laundry folded and bread machine ingredients prepared before that trip to the 9 to 5! Have a great day everyone!
Not in a good mood, not enough time to post and at this moment I don't have any thankfuls. Isn't this nice of me! Sorry to be such a downer but this lady wants to just run away at the moment and I ......have no where to go other then the bloody job or this disguesting house.
Love the pic this morning - I want to grab a cup of coffee, wrap myself in a blanket, and plop down next to a tree; simply taking in the beautiful, peaceful scenery.
WOO HOO! You are chickenless! Hope the headache goes away. Your hair looked really nice when I met you...can't imagine it looking any better. You are so cute and I don't think any hairstyle could look bad on you. Glad you like your new do!
Good morning! My first thankful is I'm chickenless now, yay.I thought they'd never leave ! :)
