I was wide awake at my usual workday morning time. I didn't feel like getting up right away which was probably a bad idea since it just started new things turning and churning in my already cluttered mind.
I knew DD had a meeting yesterday about some ongoing issues at work. She was supposed to call me when she left work but I hadn't heard from her and I left her a voice mail. I knew it couldn't be good since I hadn't heard from her. DH finally called her last evening and although I'm not exactly sure the specifics it turns out that someone she trusted to help her rectify this situation turned out not to be anyone that should be trusted. Apparently the meeting just got ugly. It's sad when you work hard and you have someone you work for hampering that you end up under the bus. I'm sure the question will be is whether they will now try to make her life miserable and force her out. Of course with the decision to buy a house further complicates everything. There's obviously nothing that I can do but no matter what their age you worry and just wish you could be there.
Once again it's Saturday and trying to figure out what to do with the day. Right now I'm planning on getting on the treadmill in a few minutes and maybe working out some of the stress and anxiety I've been feeling for the past few days. Penney's is opening early today and I really do need shoes for work. The ones I've been wearing really belong in the trash. I'll be right near the parkway and think I'll take a ride to Trader Joes. Of course while I'm not at home I'll be thinking that I should be home taking care of cleaning up around here. I'll just say I'm an emotional train wreck at the moment.
Lori-I was glad to see a post from you. I hope you can relax and unwind and enjoy your weekend at the homestead.
Patty-how's the head this morning? I really hope that it has packed up and left for good.
Nothing much else going on. The boys have both left for their respective jobs which leaves Otto and I at the homestead. He seems none the worse for the partaking of the pizza last night.
Good afternoon. Today is the big Florida-Georgia game. I have my Gator flags and neat Gator magnet on my car and am going to the nursing home to watch it with Dad, Mom, and Cheryl (even though she's a Seminole fan). This morning I've been working on more issues that need to be taken care of and Cheryl has been a huge help
So very glad to see a post from you. I'm so glad that your family has been there to help you out. Good to hear that you're able to come up for air and get out for some dancing.
Rhonda so glad to see a post from you. You sound like you are heading in a good direction. So happy that your sister has been so helpful to you. Thinking about you everyday. Happy to read you went back to dancing, good for you!
Good Morning,
Another beautiful picture to start the day.
