.choose your path wisely...someone else's path may not work for you...when you stumble, roll with it...relax in the midst of effort...go your own pace, .. make adjustments to remain balanced......return home a better woman for having made the adventure.

Yuck Nancy on the snow, I hope the weather man is wrong! Bad night here last night. My stomach was hurting so bad. I was up several times because of Aunt Flo and my tummy. Then compound it with Bill.........he has a horrible cold that settled in yesterday. He had me up listening to his coughing and gagging. I got up early but not to exercise but to take Katie to school, Billy opened the shop for Bill. I just finished my shower and I will head upstairs to dry my hair and get ready for the day. I gave Bill two Tylonal Night time cold medicine so he should fall back to sleep. He does not want to sleep late but I think I will just let him be and when he wakes up he does. They can fair at the shop without him for the morning/day. Today is my son's birthday. Billy is 24 today, which I am finding hard to believe. We will go out to dinner at the resturant of his choice, hopefully Bill will feel better for a dinner out. I will bring my sneakers to the office today and try to walk at lunch time. Even if it is only 20 minutes, better then nothing. Have a good day everyone and I will check in later!

Good Morning,

Nancy has the "s" word in her forecast and they're predicting above normal temperatures here for the majority of the week. Mother Nature can sure be one nasty woman.

Nancy, I do hope that the weather cooperates with you finishing off the harvest and your equipment issues resolved. Mother Nature sure can take its toll on our farmers. Sure do wish your MIL could see how lucky she is that she gets a phone call a day and all the time and effort you put forth to make sure she gets fresh flowers to brighten her space up. So many in your MIL's circumstances have no one to do those kind of things for them.

I've been up since around 5 which would be 6 on the the other time. It usually takes me about a week to get it all straightened out. If I hadn't already showered last night I might have thought of heading down to the basement to the treadmill. Maybe I should consider a switch off again. I'm so confused!

Heading out to the 9 to 5. I have to try to stop by the bank with DH's check since he hasn't been able to get there although at this point since he's off tomorrow I'll just wait another day. That's what he said he would do and then I decided I would do it. It's probably a trip I don't need to take on this morning.

I have had a productive morning. I've folded laundry, put another through the washer and dryer, chopped up some chicken and veggies and canadian bacon and mashed up a potato for a new soup recipe. Yes, I'm in soup mode. It's actually a recipe for using up leftover turkey but I thought I would try it out using the old standby chicken. And I cleaned out last week's leftovers which DH was supposed to do when he was rummaging around in there yesterday for something to eat. I think I said whatever you don't eat please throw out-apparently the "throw out" part was left unheard.

It will be dark by the time I head out with Otto this evening. There's no trying to get dinner on the table earlier to get the last peak of sunshine-it's going to be dark. But we'll have to make the adjustment and head on out. Hopefully my path will lead me to the basement for a workout.

The clock is ticking and need to finish up getting ready for work. I feel very spiffy this morning wearing my new boots and gaucho pants. It's amazing what a control top pair of panty hose will do to make a skirt look presentable enough to wear in public!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Susan

Nancy, I hope the snow heads in another direction. How awful to think you guys might lose your crops at this point.
