1. Have you begun planning your Thanksgiving yet? I pretty much have things worked out in my head
Will dinner be at your house? Traditionally Thanksgiving is always at my house with the exception of the year DD was born. I was due November 6th and she didn't arrive until the Tuesday after Thanksgiving-so I had no idea where I would be at that point. Are you cooking? Yes I am
Will you have guests? Up in the air at this point. We had originally invited both of DD's sisters and his oldest niece and her family. Not that the other niece has had her baby his sister and the other niece are headed to her house to prepare a Thanksgiving dinner at her house. Dh's other sister has yet to give us a yes or no. So it may just be the five of us which is fine and we'll make it a pajama day.
2. What was the last thing you watched on television? A small portion of the Today show this morning.
3. Do you have any Christmas parties on your calendar yet? Nope Do you plan on purchasing a new dress / outfit / accessory for Christmas? Probably not.
4. Does your skin change with the seasons? My skin is becoming very dry so I try to keep the moisturizer close at hand Do you do anything different between summer and winter as far as your beauty routine and moisturizing?
5. Share one personal accomplishment you are really proud of. Can't say that I've really accomplished anything noteable. I've always tried to be a good person, good employee, wife and mother and abide by the golden rule.
A thought about November -
Personally, I love November ... the beauty of mother nature ... observing the changing seasons. November has always held a special place in my heart - it is like a month of peace, a time to reflect and give thanks for all the little things we sometimes overlook. Too soon the hustle and bustle of the holidays will be upon us and we'll all be caught up in the commercial aspects of the season. Maybe you can join me in using the next couple weeks to savour and enjoy and relax and give thanks.
I love Thanksgiving and it happens that DD's birthday falls on Thanksgiving this year. It is a holiday to truly give thanks for everything big and small in our lives.
Have a wonderful November weekend ladies. You too Karen and giving you many thank yous for putting this together!
My kids. :) Although that could change at any given moment and I will want to kick their butt... but right now.. all is well and I am very proud of all of them.. a rare moment in time... :)
