Good Morning,

It is indeed cold. I had to run out in my pjs and sweatshirt to move my car and it's cold and windy. Not all that long ago I would be out bundled up and taking a Saturday morning walk. Not sure what happened to to that person.

Good stress is called eustress, and it can increase our motivation to do our best and be successful-can't say that I've ever heard of a good form of stress. Maybe I should go find me some of that.

I can't even begin to tell you how glad I am that the work week is behind me. One more day and I either would have exploded or gone into meltdown. The tension was so thick yesterday. And I was told to get the "office meeting" on the calendar for this week no matter what. Can't even express how much we're all looking forward to that.

Anyway, it's Saturday and after sleeping a good portion of the evening away in the chair I didn't get up until after 7. In addition to my usual Saturday things that I never finish I need to pick up a few things to start making for Thanksgiving and if I'm feeling adventuresome I may wander to the mall to pick up a birthday gift for DD. I'm looking forward to getting my hair cut and colored. I also finished my library book and a trip to the library for some new reading material may be on the list too. Hopefully the big yellow jacket will come out of the closet and I'll take Otto out for a walk during the daylight hours.

I'm going to make split pea soup for dinner. I have a bit of an aversion to it. DH used to love it in the can and I would occasionally put it in a thermos for lunch for him. I did that once when I was pregnant and it must have been on of those things that I just couldn't be anywhere near the smell. Haven't been near any form of it since then but I know DH likes it and the recipe looked good in Cooking Light so I'm going to be brave and give it a try.

Patty-hope your Dad continues to feel better each day. Nancy-safe travels and enjoy your weekend! Thinking of everyone and waving hello to each of you and hope everyone has a great day!

I've never heard that term before, either.

Well, when we walked into class with nerf poles...that's what I'm calling them the class laughed as in what are they up to now?

Thank you all for your input ... I do dearly treasure what you have to say.

It seems to always come back to the same couple things for DH and me when we discuss and disect our thoughts on this ... therefore, I am pretty sure that we will not be following the dream we once had.
