Patty hope your Dad continues to improve and that you can convince your Mom to get some much needed rest. Happy Birthday to Rick!
It's a rainy, damp gloomy day here on LI. A perfect day for an office meeting. Not sure why this particular meeting is getting under my skin so badly but it is. I was told to allot 2 hours for this meeting in the office schedule. I think everyone is prepared to have a piece of their head bitten off.
Other than that nothing much else on the agenda. It will be a wait and see on the weather as to a walk with Otto this evening. I do have a few things I'd like to get ready for Thanksgiving since I'll be working at least part of the day tomorrow although I wouldn't be surprised if I'm there until 5 tomorrow. I do want to try to squeeze in a few minutes for some type of workout. Perhaps a weight workout. Hopefully a good eating day as well.
That's about it from this neck of the woods. Hope everyone is well and thinking of you all.
Margie your post just made me smile from ear to ear. I am so proud of what you have done and become in the last several months. What a difficult situation you were placed in has turned into something totally different and you have proven to everyone what a strong woman you truely are. You should be extermely proud of yourself. The last part of your post regarding turkey day made me cheer! It is wonderful that you stood up for what you wanted and needed, whether Tom likes it or not he changed things not you so kudos to you dear lady! Enjoy the time with your friends and family and your new squeeze. Whether it turns out to be more or just another friendship it is great. We miss you lots when you are not around (this coming from the lady who has been MIA for a couple of weeks herself, lol). How are you feeling? You mentioned surgery a while back, what is going on with that? How long is your vacation right now?
Well howdy ladies..........at work but then again where else would I be. Went to the movies last night with my sister and totally enjoyed seeing Twilight, the book was better but I would reco the movie. Got home to a dark and quiet house. Seems Katie was sneezing and coughing horribly last night and started to run
